PRISON LAUNDRY WARRIOR

Pretty obvious by now with Graham’s conviction being upheld that at best he may be the prison laundry warrior but the land warrior thing is over.

This is a stupid man-stupid for getting caught up with AIM -stupid for murdering Annie, and stupid for having never stepped up as Arlo did.

In the three plus decades following Annie’s death Graham had ample opportunity to have a hand in the directing the course of events-even more so upon his arrest and extradition-and probably to a degree now if he’s willing to testify.

My question is has AIM, LPDOC, Free Graham, or any other entity supporting him done anything to help his family?

With Graham gone as I assume the breadwinner they must be facing financial hardships-that too because of Graham’s stupidity, and I don’t believe the  sins of the father/husband necessarily accrue to the family. Graham can pay a price but they shouldn’t have to.

Maybe AIM is hanging in the background and only issuing threats or attempting to intimidate as is their way.

Graham’s attorney can appeal this all the way to Mars if he likes-but I believe it’s a done deal-that no grounds exist for an appeal-now it’s time to open that can of whoop ass on on the rest of them.

Family is more important than AIM- as is the truth, as is the life of another.

OZ AND LINCOLN

L.Frank Baum – A man remembered for a prodigious literary output-among them and the one most are familiar with is the Wizard of Oz.

A book that has been through numerous editions selling untold copies as well as being made into a major motion picture starring Judy Garland. It is a likable movie and children of all ages seem to enjoy it.

Baum is considered a visionary of sorts in having predicted such modern day appliances as television, cell phones, and even laptop computers.

But there is another side to Baum that isn’t as well known-a side exposed in articles he wrote for the Aberdeen Saturday Pioneer in 1890 -articles that called for “the total annihilation of the few remaining Indians”.

Total annihilation includes children -and this from a man noted for  writing children’s stories.

Baum went on to say as though providing a logic for his position that “frontier settlements will be secured by the total annihilation of the few remaining Indians. Why not annihilation? Their glory has fled, their spirit broken, their manhood effaced; better that they die than live the miserable wretches that they are. History would forget these latter despicable beings, and speak, in latter ages of the glory of these grand Kings of forest and plain that Cooper loved to heroize.”

Interesting to me that Baum would employ words like glory and despicable in the same breath-interesting as well that he attempts to cloak this as compassionate and well intended.

The history of America has been whitewashed in large degree to avoid having to confront the words of people like Baum -to glorify a president like Lincoln who authored the largest mass government execution in this nations history-an execution that involved 38 indigenous men and but for fear of a national and global outcry would have been in excess of 200.

It is the history of events like these that when the Bubbas and redneck/patriots talk about go back where you came from it clearly illustrates their flag draped, they can have my gun when they pry it from my cold dead hands ignorance.

Lincoln advocated for sending the black population of his time to places like Liberia and Guyana -people should be advocating for the Bubbas and redneck/patriots  to be sent somewhere now.

Conspicuous in it's absence is the name of Ray Robinson-maybe Poor Bear and Big Boy think is is irrelevant. But nonetheless a good thing-I think the feds need to sweep the area with cadaver dogs.

TRANSITION

Had a friend ask me what I thought LPDOC would do when Peltier passes on?

I believe it will present something of a quandry for them-not a lot of options as I see it. I suppose they can attempt to continue on under the guise of some posthumous “exoneration” but I don’t think the numbers or money will be there.

They can switch allegiance and attempt to work the same game with Graham, or they can just fold up, go away, and find a different cow to milk in the hopes the herd will follow them.

Initially I believe there will be some profit taking when Peltier moves on, but I don’t see it as being sustainable -and if the money isn’t there the “devotion/dedication” will decline in direct proportion to that-after all this has become something of a free market enterprise -Peltier has been commodified, and like all commodities it is about supply and demand.

Profit taking probably in the form of a book or two or three-”limited edition collector prints”- and other assorted paraphenalia -maybe even introduce a new product line of keychains and bobbleheads, or a dashboard figure of Peltier that glows in the dark like some of those Catholic things.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a contingency plan has already been drawn up to pave the transition -as it’s pretty much like Peltier said-his release is something like 2040 and “I don’t think I’ll make it”.

That may be the truest thing he has ever said.

I’m not at all convinced that everyone who champions him believes he will be released, or even for that matter is innocent-but it is a game of three card Monte that has proven to be lucrative and as long as one is born every minute as P.T. Barnum said the game will continue.

However it eventuates I’m confident there will be a lot of associated theater and drama -the “boys” will be there making themselves as conspicuous as possible with a lot of high talk, probably secretly relieved  the potential threat to them he posed no longer exists, at least from his quarter.

Could be too after a “respectful” period of time has elapsed the “boys” may attempt to subtly shift some blame his way, though that could be high risk-but it seems to be the AIM way when somebody goes down-kind of that “no honor among…..(add word of choice) thing.”

Seems like any time I mention Peltier or even allude to the fact that he is mortal with a finite number of years as is the case with all of us it sets the heads of his accolytes spinning ala Linda Blair in the Exorcist  -so I kind of anticipate the same in expressing this opinion-might do them a little good though, kind of an aerobics exercise, clear their head a little, if you will.

Been thinking about this after posting it and wanted to add the below:

Peltier is prone to do the drama queen thing with the attempts on his life routine, but as long as it is  by the numbers and scripted  I’d like to suggest an alternate scenario.

A scenario that asks the questions if the feds wanted to take him out how is it they haven’t been able to in the midst of what is often a violent environment?

What about when he escaped -wasn’t that a golden opportunity? Or how about dying as the result of anesthesia during surgery? That isn’t so uncommon. Maybe a heart attack or diabetes related stroke.

Maybe these “attempts” on his life came from those who have reason to fear that he might at some point elect to tell the truth about AIM and all related events? After all they didn’t hesitate to take out Annie when a little fear gripped their “warrior” hearts.

I mean think about it-in such an event the suspects have already been named prior to the commission of the act itself-the suspects, that would be the feds, and the perfect alibi that no one other than the feds would be in proximity.

With his incessant pleas for help following a beat down(s) and the braggadocio of receiving a “heroes” welcome upon returning to his alma mater it gets a little confusing doesn’t it?

But as his adoring fans are so prone to dispense all manner of conspiracy and dark plot theories I feel pretty comfortable in offering up the same.

The Standing Deer tale-now how laughable is that-an imprisoned man who betrays his handlers and not only lives to tell about it but in time gains his freedom? Yeah-I’m buying that and the entire men in black routine.

Hey, maybe Peltier really was taken out and what we see is a double- a bone tossed to the devotees. Think about it.

NAJA

As a people we are fortunate to have media sources and journalists other than the mainstream ones.

NAJA-Native American Journalists Association -is an organization composed of indigenous journalists-a diverse group who will come down on various sides of an issue as all do, but a group I believe who generally  have the best interests of the nations at heart.

They have an access that the majority of us don’t-and I know that among them there are those who haven’t bought into the AIM/Peltier propaganda.

Due to the access and audience they have it would serve a great purpose to promote the below linked petition related to Annie Mae, and if not to promote then in the least to make their readership aware of it.

To do so may be seen as a risk by some but I submit in not doing so a risk is taken that in avoiding this incremental step to achieve justice it can in effect further it’s obstruction.

A murdered woman’s voice accompanied by countless others who have been raped, abused, and even murdered seeks to be heard. Tradition and culture raise their voice in unison-who will close their ears to this? Who will turn a blind eye?

Anyone can talk the talk, but it is another thing to walk the walk-silence is not golden, it gives consent.

IT TAKES MORE THAN LIPSTICK

How far the nations have fallen when profit as a motivator becomes if not an acceptable attribute then at least is tolerated.

There isn’t a true “chief” anywhere in the ranks of AIM -there never has been and I doubt there ever will be, but a part of the profit seeking has lent itself to the resume building of such titles.

I’d like for someone to provide a example to the contrary if they can, and maybe while they’re at it name a “chief” who engaged in such laughable and non traditional things as crystal balls, tarot, and Ouija Boards.

What has happened is organizations like AIM have constructed their own Curia modeled after the Vatican. A mechanism that amounts to little  more than a hand picked inner circle politically motivated and career oriented that can be relied upon to bestow titles, direct courses, and manipulate.

Instead of titles like Cardinal and Pope they opt for medicine man, warrior, and chief.

The “church” refers to Cardinals as “princes of the church” -they lead an opulent lifestyle, pampered and coddled-this is what some among the nations who call themselves chiefs and leaders would have-they would be viewed as princes who have an entitlement.

In the midst of all the talk about tradition it is increasingly obvious that the truth of it’s meaning is either unknown or ignored.

AIM as an  entity, and people like Means and Banks are destroying the very fabric of the nations-they continue the work of genocide, assimilation, and the destruction of tradition -and they do it for titles and profit-they
do it for power.

AND THAT AIN’T MUCH

Personally I’ve always found it a little bizarre that an “innocent” person would confess/boast to others that they did in fact commit a crime, but that is the way of braggarts and blowhards I suppose-that creates another difficulty for the Peltierites and AIM to contend with as they proclaim their advocacy for Annie.

Here you have two individuals presented as icons by AIM who have made diametrically opposed statements, that can only imply one or the other is lying-if it was Annie who was lying about Peltier how can any of them support her? On the other hand if Peltier is lying how can he be supported?

To make sense of this one need only to understand the necessity of embracing both-it is an effort to maintain some measure of legitimacy and protect the AIM/Peltier home front. But in doing so it can be likened to walking on eggshells-great care and caution must be taken to avoid the attention the sound will draw.

This means that when the issue of Peltier’s guilt is discussed as related to the statements he made to Annie and Kamook about shooting agents Coler and Williams that Annie and Kamook must be  in the least rhetorically separated-they have to be portrayed differently.

Kamook can be called a liar but not Annie -not publicly anyway. Pretty  transparent isn’t it?

Peltier becomes a martyr and Annie becomes the martyr to employ as cosmetics to cover the imperfections of the Peltier/AIM myth,while Kamook is cast as a villainess to misdirect. Again, transparent isn’t it?

Neither can any sufferance be given to Annie’s statement that Peltier stuck a gun in her mouth while
interrogating her under the orders of his AIM pimps, and this is where it becomes a highwire act.

A grudging admission has to be made that he did in fact interrogate her excluding the gun as part of
the makeover.

To further scrub and whitewash a footnote has to be added- that Peltier was convinced of Annie’s
integrity, it was all just part of some misunderstanding , wished her well, dutifully filed his report completely absolving her, and was rewarded with a cookie and a glass of milk for his devotion to service.

This all goes I believe to a previous statement I made in the “Land Defender” blog:

Peltier -here’s a man who has kicked the truth, the nations, his own family members under the bus to
maintain a myth that allows him to be “somebody”, rather than make an attempt to be among them.

Despite the concerted make over effort Peltier is no romanticized Papillon, Crazy Horse, or anyone
other than what and who he is-and that ain’t much.

SPAM AND THE HOLY GRAIL

There is an individual who once having been allowed access to this blog continuously attempts to comment-the latest with another propaganda piece concerning Peltier.

Apparently they are either unable  or simply not willing to address/explain about something so simple as Peltier’s need to lie about whether he saw the dead agents-they prefer to continue to prop this fool up, and I assume call Robideaux  among others liars in the process.

Odd position to be in-you either have to say Robideaux lied and then Peltier as well with his original denial or his later admission, or that Robideaux was a “fed” and part of the conspiracy and Peltier was too stupid to continue to deny his presence.

But then the truth is the Peltierites live in the midst of oddity and constantly have to do the etch a sketch and public revision.

Since Peltier is their deity of choice and LPDOC the Holy Grail they and his supporters drink from perhaps they’ would  like to explain the past internal strife within LPDOC as a non-profit related to their finances-possibly persuade them to release a financial statement?

Let’s see though-they’ve already denounced the ’99 Oyate statement as being worthless so any future response would be predictable and utterly worthless.

I have a friend who is prone to say when someone does something ridiculous that they “tore their ass”, these people tear a gaping wound in their’s with such remarks about the Oyate or their feeble attempts to ignore it, and to me at least that completely devalues anything they might have to say related to the nations, much less Alfred E. Peltier.

I assume that in using the name skabewis they are attempting to promote themself as one, is it indicative of an overactive imagination, or a childish attempt at humor?

Maybe they see wrapping themself in Peltier as promotional gimmick for their career, maybe they think it makes them a “rainbow warrior”, and maybe it has been to some degree-but I kinda think there are other avenues with a greater value than those to consider.

For the real skabewis who has commented in this blog in the past -I would quote Connor MacLeod in saying “In the end there can be only one”. And as far as this blog is concerned you, Silentbear, ain’t it.

Why is Peltier still in prison you ask? How about because he earned it -it’s where he belongs.

ARE THESE LAURELS ENOUGH?

I fully expect that I will aggravate some people with the  words that ensue but the truth is they need to be said and I’m not really concerned about who gets upset.

Any anger should be directed solely towards me as they are singularly my words and thoughts-I’ve neither discussed them with or asked permission from anyone to post them.

I don’t know how the numbers break down, what percentage of  FB “likes” translates to supporters in the U.S. and Canada as opposed to  those in other countries-but I think it’s a safe bet to say of those who have signed who reside in either the U.S or Canada aren’t representative of the numbers who frequent Annie’s,Ray’s,
and Leonard Peltier Still Guilty sites.

That raises a few questions for me-the first would be what’s the problem? A person who cares enough, has enough of a sense of social  justice that neither resides in the aforementioned countries and is not
indigenous is willing to invest of themselves and create a petition that is what? Being glossed over or ignored by a “silent majority”?

Second question would be does anyone think in doing so they are facilitating anything other than a continuation of what has gone on  for decades?

This is a no brainer if ever there was one-at post time there are 56 signators -all to be commended for putting their money where their mouth is as the saying goes-the rest of you? You need to step up-and that decision should have nothing to do with rather you’re angered by my words, angry at me, or anything else other than saying  it is about justice and  that every indigenous person deserves at a minimum more than the bullshit of the last few decades-that Annie deserves more.

Arlo and Graham are down-are those laurels enough to rest on? Is the  work done, are you personally satisfied with that as being enough? If you are then you know very little about the nations and what they
have to face.

Annie has become the “poster child” for a multitude of issues-and I use the term poster child with no disrespect but for the common understanding it affords. Annie was anything but a child-she was a woman just as some of the readers are , a mother, daughter,wife,  and sister. And I might add a kick ass one who knew what she was about and didn’t opt for silence.

She is a face and a name put to a reality indigenous women endure-a reality of abuse, sexual assault, and even murder. When everything concerning Annie is resolved those problems will continue, but a way will have been made to address them- an awareness, and hopefully a national outcry.

Her spirit speaks? Then use your voice to speak as well.

AIM wants one thing-the ownership of anything that will draw media attention and money -have you had enough of that-if not now, when?  A “peace walk”?  More like they want a piece of the pie they think will be forthcoming.

This is the exact kind of BS I’m talking about that silence allows -the vultures and carrion  feeders following the scent of money-it isn’t any kind of a stretch to say  that a petition can add an incremental step in putting an end to such things as this, much less facilitate the quest for justice.
