“Libertarians do not compromise. They do not sell out. In contrast, Demopublicans insist that politics is the art of compromise. I believe politics should be the art of principles.”
— Russell Means
This is almost too laughable to believe-Fagin, the man who at one time or another aligned with every political persuasion extant attempts to speak about principles, not only principles, but politics, which is entirely unprincipled.
That being the case though maybe Means actually was qualified to address the issue of politics and principles as he incessantly droned on.
I remember reading something that during the U.S invasion of Panama to oust their one time boy Noriega troops had surrounded Noriega’s compound and were blasting rock music as a type of psychological warfare-strikes me if that tactic is ever employed again it would be more effective to play recordings of Russell’s “updates” and commentaries.
Whoever was the target would surrender in a heartbeat rather than prolong the agony.
But the Artful Dodger and Charlie Bates are still among us plying their trade.
