Pride, honor, tradition – sorely abused words when emanating from the AIM leadership quadrant and their close associates.
None to be found in the destruction, murder, and crimes they committed within the community that became known as Wounded Knee 2.
Nor decades of lies attempting to revise that history, a corrupting history being created on a daily basis that encompasses the marketing of everything unique to the nations and characterized by bilking the public out of every dollar possible.
An effort that has included the “licensing” of permits to stage ceremonies, books, mocumentaries, and self bestowed titles raining down like mana from heaven.
To say the association of AIM with the nations has been a disaster would be to minimize the reality when viewed in it’s entirety, the greater truth is to admit it has been cloaked in a mantle of cultural genocide.
A cultural genocide that denigrated women and influenced the rise of gangs, that cheapened the value of life and eroded the structural integrity of communities and tribal leadership.
“Better red than dead”, an axiom related to communism, but also adopted by this AIM leadership with a perverted twist – better AIM red or you could wind up dead.
AIM like any gang likes to fly their “colors”, that thing they call the AIM banner – an irony I see in it, and yet another corruption, are the colors themselves, red, yellow, black, and white.
When they appear on the AIM banner I wonder if they are meant to signify the ethnicity of their various victims….including, but not exclusive to their murder victims?
I wonder too if there is some subliminal message, a subtle warning being sent, or boasting. Something akin to the notches gunfighters of old were said to carve on the handgrip of their pistol?
That may be a purely Hollywood invention but as this leadership operates in a fantasy world of their own creation and noted for their ability to create fiction perhaps they find it believable in much the same way they would have us find them believable.
