Americans love a good conspiracy theory, they embrace and embellish them until they read like a low budget Hollywood movie script – everything from extra terrestrials in government to cattle mutilations are actually committed by the government as they propagate the Alien conspiracy to cover up a conspiracy of their own.
And yes that really is a Pharonic monument on Mars constructed by either the Egyptians of the past who held the “secrets” to space travel, or maybe by their ancestors from the farthest reaches of the Universe who came to “seed” the planet- of course there is a NASA conspiracy to deny all this too.
Do conspiracies exist? For a fact, and are exposed at times – sometimes belatedly when the damage has already been done and little is left but to attempt to hold someone’s feet to the fire.
Accountability both civil and criminal is often times limited and there seems to be no uniformity to these limitations as they vary from state to state and within federal codes as well.
Most of that with a favorable tipping of the scales to the government and attorneys it seems when it comes to disciplinary or malpractice grievances, and or criminal charges.
Not much of a surprise when you take into consideration who makes the laws, administers, and practices within the realm of the “law”.
I don’t want to hear the cliche “it may not be perfect but it’s the best we have”…….if it’s broken fix it.
These limitations lend themselves to committing the perfect crime – doesn’t matter if the perpetrator is guilty they are in affect “innocent” by reason of statutory law.
Arguments can be presented either pro or con – should a person who committed something other than a heinous crime in their past and then went on to live a decent productive life be imprisoned years or even decades later?
A difficult question perhaps but I would say a qualified no depending on a variety of things, on the other hand should someone who has committed or been involved in a heinous crime be absolved by the passage of time?
Not in my book, and why I think the blind eye that has been turned to the AIM leadership involving the murder of Annie Mae Pictou Aquash, Perry Ray Robinson jr, and those who lay in secret unmarked graves victims of AIM’s reign of terror known as WK2 is not only a travesty but has all the elements of a conspiracy.
A conspiracy routinely embellished to meet the needs of those with something to lose, embellished, edited, and revised with the intent that truth becomes unrecognizable and lost.
I’m prone to suspicion when legislative committees meet behind closed doors, assuming they’re up to no good and hatching a plot favoring their corporate handlers, or when courts “seal” documents and impose “gag orders”.
I’m the same way when the AIM leadership gather behind closed doors or in public displays characterized as “human rights” forums or “tribunals” and figure it’s part of an effort to stoke the flames of their favored conspiracy theories that always absolve them of any wrongdoing.
The denial or routinely heavy handed redaction of FOI attempts has the odor of conspiracy about it, the “patriotic” assertion that transparency would endanger national security or ongoing non existent investigations doesn’t cut it for me, nor should it for anyone in my opinion.
Americans may think they are in control, if so they are sadly mistaken – the reality is they’re fortunate if they are able to control the majority aspects of their lives.
But that’s a global reality and it would be a little foolish to believe an exemption would exist for this country.
A climate exists that favors conspiracy theories, that may have always been true, but not to the degree it does now – for the individual who finds conspiracy an addiction they have struck the mother lode in this day and age, hopefully the addiction doesn’t preclude the integrity to deal with the facts, all of them.
The AIM leadership by virtue of conspiracy have committed numerous perfect crimes – the next time someone attempts to tell you there is no such thing as the perfect crime pat them on the head, give them a cookie, glass of milk, and try to explain that indeed there are, and in this particular incident it is the result of co conspiracy.
You know, as often as conspiracies unravel you would think that somewhere the light would go on, that doesn’t seem to the way of it though.
Maybe Aliens really have infiltrated the government and AIM leadership.
Adding the below link I just received – seems appropriate.
