“No one forgets the truth, we just become better in lying.”
AIM’s forte, they have become so adept at it the lines are blurred even for them – they of course haven’t forgotten, which in turn necessitates the ongoing lies and leads to the inevitable faux pas.
A corrupt business keeping two sets of books, one for public consumption and the other tucked away, an attempt to cheat on the taxes of accountability and what has actually been earned, what is deserved.
Like politicians they exist in a perpetual state of campaign, seeking the office of warrior, liberator, spiritual leader, and chief. And like political candidates seek donations and hold rallies.
Winning an election to some office is out of the question, so they resort to creating positions like the above – or in the case of Russell Means create mythical kingdoms such as the the Republic of Lakota, a made for media event, and confer a title upon themselves.
Donations composed of soft money or hard money doesn’t matter, both are desired and sought after – neither does the place of origin.
Iran, Russia, Libya, the CPUSA, it’s all green and it all spends.
That’s the impetus, more. More money, more luxuries, more than their people have….. their people live in shacks, they live in a ranch.. the American Dream.
Their people struggle to put food on the table, they Dine…the American Dream.
Their people huddle to keep warm during winter, they repose in a recliner with a comforter and the thermostat set to their liking…the American Dream.
Their people measure distance by the fuel gauge and the associated cost, they fly first class….the American Dream.

A word of French origin they would spell as fort and pronounce as for.
Spellings that within the English language conjure up other images that really have little to do with the AIM leadership as they have primarily been “for” are themselves.
Now one could say “fort” is another matter, as in hanging around the fort of the American Dream and their headlong pursuit of it.
Whatever strength exists would be that of a non moral character, which places them squarely in the midst of ninety percent of the politicians and in like fashion promise everything while delivering nothing as they pimp the poverty and needs of their constituents.
They are no longer “Indians” having morphed into some bizarre version of Daddy Warbucks and the infamous rez agents of old.
They may not wear the black robes of boarding school headmasters but in their co opting of traditional leadership and marketing of ceremonies they promote the same attitude of “Let all that is Indian within you die”.
