I had blogged about this previously as the above link demonstrates, but Banks charade having stayed on my mind coupled with a recent email is enough to generate another related blog.
Hopefully if the previous blog failed to convey my feelings this one will.
Let’s talk about the lack of response by law enforcement related to Banks complicity in the murder of Annie Mae Pictou Aquash, Perry Ray Robinson Jr., and how many others is anybodies guess.
Let’s question that and examine all the possibilities, including the one that he struck a deal, or in the vernacular AIM so loves, a provocateur, a snitch.
Let’s talk about the need for communities to confront Banks and his cohorts about selling our ceremonies and traditions.
Or how about a “warrior” who didn’t think it was “a good day to die” and opted instead to run leaving his pregnant wife to be arrested and give birth to HIS child in the prison ward of hospital.
Banks has become so delusional he needs to at least be in a group home under supervision – better yet he should be banned from setting foot on any rez in this hemisphere to wander in exile.
A poverty pimp of the first magnitude who has enriched himself at the expense of those he claims to represent – Mr. I’m taking the fifth, I don’t know anything about anything and those who say I do are haters.
An apple, a hang around the fort, a liar and a fraud with his version of that Monopoly tin hat sitting on his head.
Any community worth a damn is built upon a foundation of common goals seeking a common welfare, for Banks to even speak of communities or the death of a woman is as bogus as that bit of folklore concerning Washington and the cherry tree.
As bogus as the language and intent of every treaty presented to the nations and every word he has spoken.
It isn’t enough to talk the talk, you have to be able to walk the walk as well….Banks can’t even chew gum and walk at the same time.
Banks wants to seen as the embodiment of AIM, his turn I suppose as the little boys in the sandbox argue over who is the King of the dung hill.
The truth of the matter is he is the embodiment of all that has been wrong with AIM.
I don’t know how a person so layered with guilt, with so much innocent blood on their hands could sleep at night, but I guess some can- like Richard Speck, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, and other infamous notables.
Misty Upham was a woman of the nations, one of ours – she and her family deserve more than Banks attempting to capitalize on her death.
Reblogged this on Influenced to Death and commented:
Rezinate !!!!
Thanks JP – stay strong and be well.
Meric Beacoup, i really needed the laughter, it took me more time to stop laughing while reading than it took to read the context of this blog ….. still laughing !!!! , GREAT
Depicting Banks as a laughable figure is only one of several accurate
characterizations, but that’s a long list, all of which most everyone
other than hive members are aware of and willing to admit.
What’s really laughable are the attempts to be relevant with the
“tribunals”.
Yes rezinate you have made us laugh to, but we know the truth of this
one Dennis Banks and it is not good.
No it isn’t good and reminds me of a line in one of the BatMan movies
spoken by Jack Nicholson in his role as the Joker – he says “this town
needs an enema”.
I think the same could be said of AIM, especially the “leadership”
as they are obviously full of it.
In the past I have offered to contribute to a Depends fund if one
were to be started…I’m also willing to contribute to a prunes
fund with the condition that a couple of flats be sent to Peltier
in addition to those sent to the AIM leadership.
Prunes and Depends….I think that ought to about cover it.
without a doubt , not good to any degree, which is one reason some at times , resort to the laughter, so as to not enter depths of emotional misery that one witness’s from reviewing the dark results on identity, culture, tradition, beliefs, women, children, elders from the actions by the poverty pimp’s, their affiliates, their supporters and sympathizers.
Sometimes laughing at the lunacy of a situation is medicinal
in nature serving to maintain a focus and strengthen resolve
rather than falling into the depths of despair as you point out.
Laughing at such individuals in a way is a form of public pillory
and has a distinct value – often enough I find myself shaking
my head and laughing at their antics.
Yes sometimes we laugh so not to cry.
Know what you mean.
Prunes and Depends ROFL
Or Depends and prunes – kind of like the question of which came first,
the chicken or the egg, one being essential to the other.
