Richard Two Elk excerpt from American Indian Mafia page 321:
“I believe it was Easter Sunday when the leadership decided they had found a spy in their midst. When Dennis Banks told us to take care of him, we knew exactly what he meant. After Arlo and I and several others beat this poor fellow, we tied him to a cross and beat him some more. He stayed up there for six hours in the sun. Stories that say this didn’t happen, or that it was a manikin [ reference FBI report April 22] are simply untrue. I have no idea what happened to that fellow after they cut him down.”
I’ve always been a little intrigued by this statement, not that Banks said to “take care of him”, that’s always been the way Banks rolls – if he’s not running away leaving women to face the music he maintains a distance sending others to do his dirty work
What I’d like to know are a couple of additional things, beginning with whose idea was it crucify this person and what was the significance, if any, meant to be?
Secondly was Dave Hill involved in this bunch?
I think it reasonable to assume whoever this person was their remains could be found in one of the several unmarked graves of AIM’s victims at WK2.
I also think it’s reasonable to assume in light of the public positions Two Elk has taken he must surely have been interviewed by the feds, the result could well be they know the names of not only the participants but the victim as well.
I ask whether Hill was involved or not as I believe there is a very strong possibility that he rolled over at some point in consideration of his ability to walk from federal charges of bombing Mt. Rushmore, state firearms charges, and that child support case in Utah.
If in fact Hill did that could go a long way in explaining why to this day nobody knows anything, not even the Manikin Mans name.
