The call for “justice” now related to Peltier is that he should be released due to his age and the fact that he wants to die at home when the time comes.
There may or may not be a “justice” in doing so but there is another justice that needs to be addressed – that is, does Peltier, Banks, or any of the other shaimsters think it would have been just if Annie Mae Pictou Aquash, Perry Ray Robinson Jr, Williams, Coler, and AIM’s other victims could have lived out their lives and passed on at home?
What about Roque Duenas, Buddy Lamont, and perhaps even Nogeeshik Aquash – where is the justice for them?
Where is the justice for Wilber Riegert who confined to wheelchair was tossed into the street during WK2 so that the fraudulent s.o.b. Russell Means could have an office?
How about the Gildersleeves who had their store and possessions looted and ransacked while other sorry s.o.b.s attempted to portray them as “whites” ripping people off.
Where is the justice for residents of WK who lost everything and never had so much as an apology?
Justice? The sorry s.o.b.s I’ve mentioned don’t even know the meaning of the word, much less give a damn about it.
And Redford? If he’s such an advocate for justice, has so much compassion, he should be addressing the murders AIM committed – not only that but acknowledge he was duped about Mr.X when he included it in that fawning work of fiction known as Incident at Oglala
The below linked articles are from last year and sent to me today by a sister asking my opinion/response – which is they are yet additional works of fiction for a variety of reasons as follows:
The warrant for Jimmy Eagle was about a lot more than a minor theft complaint which the feds would have had no jurisdiction over.
Peltier fled because he precipitated the entire event believing the agents were coming for him on a Wisconsin fugitive warrant and well knew he was either a party to murder or committed murder.
The argument that Peltier didn’t shoot anyone is without merit even if he didn’t as both state and federal law would have held him mutually responsible.
Robideau’s attempt to claim all the responsibility was nothing more than a variation on the Mr.X story.
Myrtle Poor Bear? There’s more than one person who will tell you that indeed she did know Peltier, so why would she change her story? How many threats do you think AIM directed her way if she didn’t?
