Death occurs all around us, nothing lives forever, not even the mountains who experience a death of their own in erosion or possibly a cataclysmic event.
Stars supernova due to a gravitational collapse or a sudden re ignition of nuclear fusion and destroy themselves- all of which speaks to a beginning and an ending.
Flowers burst forth, bloom, and then wither away-we as humans are birthed and begin our journey. We do so with an expectation that our journey will be a natural one, that our life experience will be a progression uninterrupted by a premature death, that the life we live is ours, and no one can disrupt the flow by taking it from it us.
Inspite of our expectations we know this isn’t necessarily an absolute, what should be isn’t always the way it is. And when this unnatural disruption occurs the impact on others, even a nation, or nations can be a profound and lasting one.
The “resmurs” are an example of, and in the global view, a microcosm of approaches taken when a life, lives, are suddenly wrenched away.
Families and loved ones as survivors bear the burden-a burden magnified when answers and justice aren’t forthcoming that leaves a festering wound.
The loss of lives that have been commonly referred to as the resmurs have left such wounds, some grieve, and some employ them for their own purpose.
The one, grief, is a natural event, the other is a dispassionate and cruel manipulation.
Many of these deaths AIM has referred to as the result of murder are not, others are, and have been identified as such, yet for each that has been identified whether due to murder or another event like the death of Michelle Tobacco inadverdently caused by an intoxicated mother, they refuse to allow the closure and insist upon labelling it what they will, something dark and sinister.
The question should be asked is why-what possible purpose does it serve to continuously tear the scab from a healing wound?
The victims composing the resmurs list numbers around 56 depending on whose list it is, but it is the generally accepted one, people can and will read into them what they will, and it is the personal agenda that will determine that-one should keep in mind that it is easy to add conspiracy to such an event, about as easy as claiming something else, initiating a cover up, or burying people in unmarked graves and insisting they don’t exist.
It is an established fact that AIM is responsible for the murder of Annie Mae, Ray Robinson, and those in unmarked graves at WK2-yet for years they have denied responsibility to the point of saying the feds were responsible for everything.
For me at least I find myself asking in view of this how many of the resmurs did they commit and are following the same pattern?
What we are left with is two opposing sides with vastly different positions, if something is amiss it’s obvious neither, will expose themselves, and so it is left to those interested in the truth to search and verify in as much as they can and arrive a commonsense conclusion.
Of these 56 cases 21 resulted in trials or convictions on the federal level with one conviction in a local court.
Eleven did not fall within federal jurisdiction, and twenty two were investigated but did not result in convictions. Of these people should not immediately leap to the conclusion that an investigation that didn’t culminate in a conviction is evidence of a cover up-it could be something entirely different that doesn’t qualify as a crime.
In writing this blog it isn’t meant to imply that I am satisfied with all of the findings, but neither do I arbitrarily deny them or lump them all together as a conspiracy, and the information is available to those who will take the time to research them.
An example would be those listed as not falling under federal jurisdiction, a very real circumstance that involves federal and state statutes, jurisdictional matters, and states rights-no conspiracy exists in that, just a reality.
Grand Juries are a power unto themselves and have basically evolved into a vehicle for prosecuting attorneys, not their original intent-yet they are composed of individuals and it should be reasonable to assume they base their findings on logic and evidence, or the lack of it, on what is presented.
I suppose it’s possible to rig a grand jury outcome, though I haven’t a clue how one would go about it and I believe it would be extremely difficult.
Maybe not though as Banks etal have seemed to be able to skate through more than one of them-but that could be indicative of ignoring GJ recommendations and others electing not to pursue prosecution.
Every year people die from exposure, domestic abuse, an alcohol induced rage that leads to murder, automobile accidents, fires, even suicide, which is reaching epidemic proportions in our communities, an endless list-yet to assume these things don’t happen on an impoverished rez and all deaths are suspicious in nature lacks any semblance of reason.
To turn a blind and accepting eye in saying they should not be investigated is equally as ridiculous. But it is also ridiculous to ignore that in times of upheaval murders are committed and blame conveniently laid where it doesn’t belong, as convenient as denying them.
As ridiculous as denying convictions that have taken place.
