In the Superman comics an alternative world exists known as the planet Bizarro, in the Trump world this alternate world is the planet Oblivion.
And you know, something that really fascinates me is the perpetual state of oblivion Trump supporters live in.
They could care less about the minutia of facts – it doesn’t matter in the least that Trump will say the current administration is going to allow 250,000 Syrian immigrants into the country when the actual quota has been set at 10,000.
If pressed Trumpites will say the number doesn’t matter it’s the “principle” of the thing, which is to say the unprincipled nature of lies and act of lying are irrelevant.
Doesn’t matter either that Trump has proclaimed thousands upon thousands of celebrants took to the streets following 911 and yet not a single shred of evidence has been presented to substantiate that – in this age of cellphone photos and videos nothing can be produced.
There must have been hundreds of reporters and camera crews cutting a wide swath in the aftermath and yet nothing to back up Trump’s claim.
You’d think that might make a difference and yet it hasn’t in the world of oblivion.
Of interest to me is a little tidbit of information that surfaced related to a book containing speeches made by Adolph Hitler that Trump at least at one point kept on a nightstand or in a cabinet by his bed – kind of connects the dots to Trumps approach to the outrageous things he has said and positions he promotes.
A part of political campaigns is lying and bombast, rare is the candidate who doesn’t engage in such things, what has increasingly become the way of it is the manner in which the electorate not only tolerates it but will embrace it as well – and that is a bad sign.
I’m sure at some point the majority of us has been subjected to the company of an individual who makes the conversation all about themselves, I’m equally as confident no one was impressed and couldn’t wait to get away.
The question is how many actually think they could endure more than a five minute conversation with Trump? How long would it take for their patience to run out and they would tell him to shut the hell up?
I think five minutes would be the max for me and just about anyone I know of.
“If I had these speeches, and I am not saying that I do, I would never read them.” Trump
Priceless, and the Trump drones will swallow it hook, line, and sinker.
Trump is incapable of telling the truth even when it comes to who gave him the book – of course to say it was a Jewish person no doubt was seen as a way to apply a little whitewash, a layer of lipstick on the Trump pig.
Does the mere fact of ownership in and of itself indicate something?
I don’t believe so, but also believe a difference arises for example when say for instance if a copy were found in the home of an historian or a white supremist/neo nazi.
I could be biased though – as an indigenous person the conservative ideology is completely and irrevocably anathema to me, to us as a people.
Five hundred years has encoded a genetic aversion to individuals such as Trump, fostered by common sense and a genuine understanding and concern for our traditions.
Conservative ndns? Right, if you believe that you probably believe Jessica Rabbit is a real person and in making America “great” again Trump would do the same for indigenous people and all who are disenfranchised.
Here’s a link that says all any indigenous person needs to know about the Donald:
Apologies for the language in the Sanders bumper sticker, I didn’t design it but it certainly echoes my sentiments.
