Whoa – standing eight count – The Sun Sentinel, a major Florida newspaper has stepped up to the plate and stated the obvious ….. not a single Republican presidental candidate is worthy of endorsement.
The reasons given for not doing so should be obvious, but those same reasons have been routinely ignored throughout the campaign, so will it make a difference now?
Probably not as people generally prefer not to be confused by facts.
They seem to prefer ignoring realities and constructing their own “facts”.
A mystery in the midst of all this is Republican women who support these clowns, especially Trump – this is the twenty first century and it’s about equal pay, maternity leave, equal opportunity, respect, and women controlling their bodies – none of which is on the conservative agenda.
Trump is a blatant mysogynist, and yet conservative women can’t seem to get enough of it, it’s like the battered woman syndrome, they keep getting kicked around and yet stay in the relationship.
That sisterhood thing? Forget about it – they can find a way to accept what is unacceptable from bashing Megan Kelly and Carli Fiorina in the most egregious manner to any other women this idiot Trump goes off about.
They, like the battered woman, forgive merely on the basis of being told that inspite of everything they really are loved and respected.
I had a woman tell me it’s that “bad boy” syndrome – some number of women gravitate to abusive men, not just gravitate but defend as well.
Something else that falls under the heading of bizarre to me.
I think women deserve something better, but there seems to be an element of personal responsibility that is lacking and in the end if women want to get get kicked around by their candidate of choice that’s on them.
Unlike the words of Ann Rule above women are quite capable of severing the relationship when it comes to conservative candidates.
