Is there actually a person alive who doesn’t believe fracking is a negative? That it doesn’t increase seismic activity, pollute ground water, and generally contaminates the environment?
Unfortunately there are people who know the facts and yet ignore the realities – among them conservatives, democrats, and of course corporate entities and their poster girl Hillary Clinton.
Don’t take my word for it though, instead as I often advise people do the leg work and math for yourself.
Don’t listen to what may be said as a political expedient in the midst of a campaign, rather look at the body of work, the historical record.
So let’s see – if the defense is fracking creates jobs what net gain is there when earthquakes can and often do hundred of millions of dollars in damage and take lives?
This isn’t about jobs, it’s about greed, profit, and shareholders.
Is there an economic gain when it comes to addressing pollutants that are released or ignitable water when a person opens a tap or takes a shower?
Imagine if you will as the result of an earthquake generated by fracking the White House, the Clinton Foundation or home, or the home of any politician for that matter was leveled. Think the narrative would change?
How about if their water was unpalatable, or ignitable – think it would change?
It might, but one can’t be sure considering the power and influence in the corporate states of america of lobbyists, corporations, Wall Street, and of course their political minions.
Clinton is pushed time after time into making statements and adopting positions she isn’t comfortable with putting on her tap dancing shoes and going into a convoluted spiel that ultimately is meaningless and has more holes in it than a prairie dog village.
The dance may be cute, even amusing, but she’s no Shirley Temple, has a legion of dance partners, and inspite of what she may tell you this ain’t the good ship lollipop.
It’s show time and she’s read the script, in fact authored much of it when you review her record.
But not to worry on the strength of gender alone she certainly has to be qualified to be president.
Her maternal and nurturing instinct as a woman will evidence itself at some point after decades and all will be well.
Her’s is an overbearing obnoxious don’t do as I do, do as I say and someday you’ll thank me thing – a Mommy knows best.
Supposedly men and women have both a feminine and masculine side – Hillary plays the feminist card at every opportunity thinking that will work and secure her nomination and then powers down the cloaking device at the first scent of money.
She’s maternally concerned, wants to elevate women, and break the barriers. Nothing wrong with any of that if genuine.
But in the real world of down and dirty, selling out, manipulating, and sucking up to the power boys she’s proven it’s no small task to separate her from her male counterparts, and that’s a pity as a woman running for the presidency should be one capable of elevating the office.
