Trump may have very well stuck his hoof in his mouth again and the implications could be yuge.
I’ve stated my dislike of Kafkaesque secret courts in the past, and believe they have no place in a “free” democratic society – anymore than domestic spying does or secret prisons regardless of where they’re located.
Yet both are a reality based in part due to fear mongering and a total disregard of historical and Constitutional values.
The linked article explains the nuances of such courts related to any “wiretapping” that may have taken place at Trump Tower, and if in fact it did it doesn’t bode well for either Trump or his administration.
The current WH built on the sand of relentless lies and gross incompetency could be on the verge of collapse, if not then it has suffered severe structural damage that will require more than twitter tantrums and shameless spins advanced by “press secretaries” to repair it.
What should be considered is that while Trump may be able to hobble the flow of information originating in this country he cannot control it or agencies in other countries, and that would include countries that are allies.
Something else Trump’s supporters might want to consider is if they want to exchange the familiar flag they wrap themselves in for the one depicted above.
