Maybe it’s because of the kind of work I do but I tend to always notice lines and design, whether something is level, symmetrical, or needs repair.
Being into photography probably accentuates my awareness of such things but I believe where and how I grew up plays a role as well.
I think people generally consider flowers, trees, and the flora of nature as being symmetrical and weeds as asymmetrical but if you look closely they too have an unmistakable symmetry in design that is seldom noticed before the hoe comes down.
Weeds are beautiful things. We don’t mind them, much to the dismay of the people who live next to us. The wildlife love to munch on them.
Peaceful coexistence is generally the way of it here
with the garden being the exception, then it’s on.
Oh yeah! The garden is off limits. I only wish they would understand that. 🙂
They seem to be incorrigible when it comes to gardens.
