“ Still, Jones’ conspiracy radio show has earned him millions of fans, including the President of the United States himself. Trump went on that very same radio show in December of 2015 to commend Jones’ work, telling the InfoWars host that “your reputation is amazing” and “I will not let you down.”
I suppose an “animated persona”, could be a good thing at times, but Alex Jones? come on now.
This is a character that could only exist in this country.
A few years ago I had heard of Jones but never seen him in action or listened to the bilge he is noted for.
Then a friend sent me a link to Jones doing an interview with Russell Means, a real love fest that completely ignored the reality of Means and the so called American Indian Movement.
I was dumbfounded, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, and so I watched a few other “infowars” episodes and came to the conclusion the moderator was totally unhinged.
The quality of “reporting” by Jones has been in free fall, an ongoing descent into darkness motivated by profit.
In the midst of child custody proceedings based on an assertion that Jones is an unstable individual custody of their two children has become an issue.
Jones attorney is attempting to portray him as a “performance artist”, that it’s basically all one big act – so obvious no question should exist as to it’s nature. So obvious everyone should have known it was bs.
In essence this is the equivalent of if an organization like Frauds Anonymous existed that Jones would stand up and say my Name Is Alex and I’m a performance artists promoting fake fraudulent news, conspiracy theories, and not adverse to making it up as I go along.
The silver lining to all this for Jones if one exists is he can give additional “performances” about the divorce and custody etal being an Illuminati plot originating in satanic subterranean caverns of secret handshakes and pizza shops fronting for pedophiles.
They say a mind is a terrible thing to waste, but then you have to have one to begin with for there to be a loss.
