I never bought into the FEMA death camp thing that was going round like of those viruses people come down with – I didn’t buy into the thousands of FEMA coffins for death camp detainees.
Better to leave such things to Sarah Palin, Brietbart, and Alex Jones, it’s their schtick, and besides they’ve probably filed for a patent on such nonsense.
All of this emanates from the “conservative” side of an increasingly dysfunctional electorate that opts for sound bites in lieu of substance.
But while we’re on the subject of death camps, coffins, and the “Illuminati” it’s a little curious to me that the Republican “health care” bill would include an age tax.
What possible purpose could there be for doing so when seniors already have a tough row to hoe?
That would be seniors who in the majority live on a fixed income and routinely are passed over for a cost of living increase (cola) while the Republican Congress votes itself one.
That would be the same Congress motivated by handing a one hundred and fifty billion dollar plus tax break to the top four hundred wealthiest individuals/families in this country by repealing the ACA known as Obamacare.
An age tax that will in effect impact the ability of seniors to avail themselves of adequate medical attention and necessary medication.
Little over a year ago Martin Shkreli the then head of Turing Pharmaceuticals attempted to raise the price of Daraprim by five thousand percent.
The public outcry was both immediate and inclusive – it crossed party borders among the rank and file electorate as it should have.
An inclusive response that is required now in the face of what the Republicans are proposing.
This is more than Ryancare or Trumpcare, it’s Shkrelicare – the taking of a page from the book of profit at any means and to hell with people.
The bottom line is whether you love Obama or hate him, whether you love Trump or hate him healthcare is too vital an issue to base your response on a cult of personality.
Healthcare is also a part of the nations crumbling infrastructure that needs to be addressed, and that won’t be accomplished by kicking seniors or the working class under the bus to feed the coffers of the wealthy.
