If only the above were true.
Is the handwriting on the wall? Trump is surging vs Clinton and she’s beginning to look a little frazzled.
As I blogged previously if Hillary has to go up against Trump in the general election whether she should win or not she’s going to get savaged, and if Bill attempts to weigh in he’ll get his lunch handed to him if he’s anywhere but a well managed and carefully selective rally or speaking engagement.
Controlled and selected is nothing new to Hillary, the DNC and Debbie Wasserman Shultz have seen to that, but it will be an entirely different story in the general election and all the Queens horsemen and all the Queens men may not be able to put poor Hillary back together again.
Hillary’s got more cracks in her political veneer than the funerary wrappings of Tut, and when the dust begins to settle it ain’t going to be nothing nice.
She may win, but if so she will limp into the White House riding on the ass and logo of the DNC and super delegates who cast their lot prior to the first primary or caucus will have made of their party rather than the white horse of a champion for the people
But that’s politics, mainstream establishment politics, and make no mistake about it, Hillary Clinton is about as mainstream as they come inspite of whatever campaign rhetoric she adopts.
If ever there was a candidate with more political indebtedness, more shady ties, more questionable support for cronyism styled legislation I can’t think of who it might be.
An establishment candidate who can only be elected by an establishment electorate – and that’s what will be really sad, an establishment electorate claiming to be progressive reformers.
