I’ll begin this blog by apologizing if I’ve misled anyone into believing Elmer Gantry was a fictional character in a Hollywood movie – in previous blogs I’ve made reference to Gantry associated with televangelists, religious zealotry, and evangelicals.
You can imagine my surprise and embarrassment to learn Gantry is very much alive and in fact was the featured speaker at “Liberty” University commencement activities.
