Admittedly the Trump regime lives in a bubble, but if the bubble were a submarine the alarm would be sounded and an order issued to Dive! Dive!
Deckhands Kellyanne Conway, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Sean Spicer are busily swabbing the deck and polishing the gold trim in an attempt to clean up the mess but the cumulative affect of revelation upon revelation is making it an impossibility.
Trump is playing his favorite role of Dear Leader publicly demanding the “healthcare” bill be passed, which if it is will further expose how this administration’s only concern is catering to the wealthy, how completely out of touch it is.
The proposed tax bill that will amount to a forty dollar in pocket savings to the working class as opposed to nearly a million for his wealthy and corporate buds will surely ignite another firestorm.
In combination the two may actually lead to an awakening for his supporters that they’ve been had.
Now I’m sure there are those among the Trumpkins who will say forty dollars is forty dollars, and that’s true, but if they dare to go so far as to factor in the “healthcare” bill it’s going to radically offset their “savings” and drive them deeper into the hole.
The big question is whether or not they are capable of doing the simple math and acknowledging the results – so far there’ s been nothing to indicate they are.
Obviously Jr is the proverbial apple that didn’t fall far from the tree – does anyone actually believe he went to this meeting without saying a word to his father prior to or after? That Kushner and Manafort didn’t either?
Sean Hannity apparently does but as a Trump media minion no one should be surprised by that.
In the end though I don’t believe there are enough Hannitys, Carlsons, Conways, Spicers, Huckabee Sanders, or conservative obstructionists in the Senate or Congress to maintain the con – the meme rather than “repeal and replace” should be “impeach and remove”.
If nothing else the Trump administration has been the equivalent of the California gold rush for attorneys – this administration has become the most lawyered up in history and depending on which side of the fence you’re on for good reason.
Daddy’s boy has stepped it and all the kings horses and all the kings men aren’t going to be able to put all this back together again.
Way to go TIME – and no doubt you can expect to be referred to as “fake news” now.
