  1. The sound of crickets is keeping me company as I wait for the answer you asked above. While on the subject, does anyone know where the money from the sale of land of the former Heart of the Earth Survival School and the Frey Mansion went? Clyde & crew aren’t offering any insight on that.

    • One can only assume Clyde “did it for AIM”, kind of like when
he was selling drugs – hopefully the crickets have a lot of songs,
going to be a while I think.

  2. Sent a $100 check last week from the NPPA to the Red Cloud Indian School at Pine Ridge. (And no, before the peanut gallery pipes in…nothing, ever, is claimed as a tax-deductible donation. It’s just a check in the mail to help in a little way a very worthy cause.) As many double-dog-dares that have been made to Peltier…no dice; how true of them; give but don’t ask…

    • The needs across the nations are staggering, everything helps and everything
      is appreciated.
I am amazed at the way the wealthy and powerful, including corporations, are
catered to when given “tax breaks” that are then subsidized by the average
taxpayer – money that could well be spent addressing the issues of poverty,
education, healthcare, and unemployment in this country.
The only way out for us is education, but even that without opportunity isn’t
enough – we need to somehow develop an infrastructure on the rez that will
      create jobs.
One of the things that really angers me is difference the money that has been
stuffed down the Peltier rathole and AIM’s pockets could have made.
Wouldn’t have fixed everything but would have accomplished something more
than wannabe chiefs flying around the country first class or creating a myth.

  3. Cheers to NPPA! Seriously! A few bucks in the right hands can make a difference. Getting involved where & when a person can also makes a difference and costs only a bit of time and effort.

Kudos to the real helpers in this life!

    • There is a certain irony in it to my way of thinking – for all
the attacks directed at NPPA money and good intentions talks
and the AIM/Peltier bullshit walks…… I can only assume the
      “firekeeper” doesn’t know yet.
By that I mean I don’t hear any complaints thus far, which is the
way it should be when it comes to children.

    • Wade: Thanks. And Rez is very right about what exactly the vague contributions Peltier had really made to the benefit of any of “his” people, especially at Pine Ridge. There’s a lot of talk about various projects ‘in his name’ but practically nothing to really show for it.

Prior to this donation I’ve sent a total of $555 to Red Cloud and made made a promise that I will make it a more regular practice.

On the other hand, none of Peltier’s alleged charitable activities can stand up to any scrutiny.
This review is a little dated but nothing has changed: http://www.noparolepeltier.com/debate.html#fraud
