Informants A and B-anyone who has followed along about the murder of Annie and AIM’s responsibility has no doubt been bludgeoned with tales of A and B by AIM and the Peltierites -that the standard was for the feds to insert couples as spies. It has become a favored part of their mea culpa.
Now the focus is directed to Theda Nelson Clark-so I assume she is being presented as one half of the dynamic duo-if so who fills the other position?
The defenders will immediately say it was Doug Durham-but I don’t buy that for a number of reasons-and that leads me squarely back to my long standing contention that one or more within the AIM hierarchy were and are a snitch.
AIM has insisted for years that they were infiltrated with a veritable legion of snitches/operatives and made every attempt to employ it as a justification for their criminal activities-yet as can be seen in the previous FOI blogs Peltier denies this and opts to say it isn’t true.
There are a few candidates that can be presented as Theda’s counterpart if one is to accept that she was an operative-or at least rolled over at some point-one of these would be Frank DeLuca/Blackhorse.
But the real genius in having an insider is to have one at the very top, someone in that exclusive inner circle where the decisions are made. I don’t think grunts like DeLuca or even Peltier qualify on that basis.
Now admittedly none of the AIM leadership can be likened to Einstein and have no doubt on more than one occasion gone the loose lips sink ships route, having the egos they have shown I doubt they were averse to bragging when they should have kept their mouth shut-kind of like Peltier with his boast of having shot the mfer, though despite every effort by LPDOC to portray him as being a leader he was not- I don’t believe anyone in a leadership position would be given the nickname dumb as dirt.
Such a penchant could well have led to the “house servants” hearing things and passing them on-and would be a classic example of the ineptitude of leadership.
So we are left with a scenario depending on which version a person accepts, that either AIM was overrun with informants or they were not. If a person goes along with they existed as a bumper crop then it has to be assumed that there were more than one set of A and B if that was standard operating procedure.
If Theda and Durham, or Theda and DeLuca, were one pair how many others were there and who were they?
Everyone is pretty much onto Dave Hill now-so is it a possibility he and one time squeeze Thelma Rios also composed an A and B? Dave “the mad bomber” Hill certainly would have had some trade worthy information to market-and in fact did, though to what extent isn’t fully known.
AIM and LPDOC would have people believe that only those on the short list they grind out of the pulp fiction mill are viable, but I think everyone would be well advised to expand the list and consider other options. One could even speculate sons of politicians or politicians themselves have served as informants.
Not difficult to look at the players, determine what they have been able to get away with, and then ask the follow up questions of why and how?
I don’t have a single issue with pointing a finger at Theda or DeLuca as being far from above suspicion, but others like myself were born with ten fingers, and there are a lot of options and reasons to point them at others.
My personal preference when it comes to the AIM leadership is to employ the middle finger on both hands to do so.
