HIPS DON’T LIE REDUX

“Banks was recorded on a Federal wire in or around 2002 saying that he had Cris Westerman, the brother of Floyd bury him by Wounded Knee Creek after he died in the Wounded Knee Clinic. Robinson’s death is recorded in other testimony and interviews with KaMaook Nichols and Bernie Lafferty who observed conversations by Banks, Carter Camp and David Hill while Ray Robinson lay outside the building across from the clinic . According to an interview by Serle Chapman with Madonna Gilbert, (Russell&Bill Means sister), and according to Minnie Two Shoes, Gilbert slapped Annie Mae Aquash around at the WNKLDOC legal offices of Atty Bruce Ellison, wanting to know what she (Aquash) knew about Robinson’s death in WK 73. . -Nfic Paul DeMain-


 

As anyone who is even vaguely familiar with this blog knows I have stated my belief that an “accommodation” has
 been reached at some point with Bank’s and others in the AIM hierarchy that provided immunity from prosecution to them.


As the date of this recorded conversation is 2002 then such an accommodation had to have been reached at least ten years ago.


But I suspect it predates the year 2002 by an appreciable amount, and in view of the crimes they have committed it is logical to further assume that whatever information they provided must have been of  great value in order for them to escape prosecution.

Presumably this information would exist in the much sought after FOI’s -information not only the Justice Department would have but Obama as well, and why I have said earlier it’s something the Peltierites should be thinking about, unless in their arrogance and celebrity fueled concerts  they assume they know absolutely everything there is to know.


My belief is that all within the top echelon of AIM rolled over at some point or another, I’ve speculated it could be related to Peltier-that they gave him up and the cover is their support for him, as all informants have a cover story.


Could be one or more provided critical evidence against John Graham-something more than the public version Russell gave in ’99 and his B grade performance of being overwhelmed by emotion in the news to him that the call to execute Annie was received at of all places, his brother’s house. The vagaries of life huh?


If any of this is true then it speaks clearly of deals made and collusion between the authorities and AIM, something neither side would want known-also something not all on both sides of the fence would necessarily have knowledge of.


What I consider to be an anomaly is the BIA takeover-a federal building taken hostage, government property destroyed and stolen, and the response was to pay a ransom,  a pat on the head and to say run along home now?


Doesn’t even sound plausible does it? Then factor in that the AIM leadership laid up in hotel rooms partying and it makes even less sense- no one was picked off as they evacuated as was the case at WK2.


Trudell loves to go on about an “operative” within the movement that created such events-who better than an honest to goodness “warrior(s)”within the hierarchy itself-one or more of those SAC’s -Special Aimsters in Charge-who would be more perceived as being above suspicion?

Who better to point the finger at others to befuddle and deflect the heat-what greater example of their commitment, purity, and dedication to the cause than to order the executions of alleged informants?


When you look at the four plus decades of events that mark AIM’s existence there are a lot of things they could have provided information about-not only that but once having done so could go “rogue” as  they may well of felt secure in knowing that to prosecute them would  run the risk of exposing deals made.


A sense of security based on and enhanced by the years of brainwashing that everything was about COINTEL-and anything negative said about them, or attempt to hold them accountable was proof of that.


Crafty-but the problem that has arisen is that much of this other than the indictment prosecution aspect has been taken out of their hands,  it is now in the hands of people who want the truth, and whether they escape the judicial courts or not they cannot escape the court of public opinion and what is known.

By this recorded conversation Banks, by his own words is guilty of at least obstruction and aiding and abetting in his participation to any degree felony murder as well I would think.


Shakira sings a song by the name of Hips Don’t Lie, a catchy tune that seems to set women to dancing as well. We are told to believe that the eyes and words of Banks don’t lie either-I think that’s been show to be a fallacy countless times.

AN OBVIOUS REFERENCE REDUX

I would draw the readers attention to the five thirty four mark in the below video where Minnie Two Shoes in discussing the interrogation of Annie Mae Aquash by Leonard Peltier clearly states that she and Iris ThunderCloud had been likewise interrogated “by the same people”.

The obvious reference is to Peltier, Robideau, and Butler, Annie’s antagonists.

Minnie’s statement is inclusive, though she doesn’t specify who was the lead interrogator,  but it seems reasonable to me to assume it was Peltier, who seemed to enjoy bullying women.

It is yet another example of how fraudulent the effort is to portray Peltier as something other than what he is, and that is mostly notably a proven liar, an errand boy, and a cheap thug.

I had the good fortune to meet Minnie a few times and engage in conversations with her. She was one of kind- a rapier like wit that could literally have you rolling on the floor accompanied by a depth of understanding and commitment that would rivet your attention-she was a good woman worthy of respect, a woman who cared deeply and not given to lying.

Occasionally someone will appear in what is known as blackface, a cosmetic application mimicking African Americans, a display assured to raise a hue and cry- I submit that the same hue and cry should be raised over the cosmetic makeover to portray Leonard Peltier as being a warrior or in any way representative of the beliefs of, or who the nations are.

Peltier has assumed a role, and had decades of coaching and rehearsal- it is a shabby performance at best riddled with his own miscues archived in interviews and videos across the internet and in the public domain.

COCONSPIRATOR

Here’s a definition of coconspirator from the Free Dictionary:

coconspirator – a member of a conspiracy    

conspirator, machinator, plotter

Think about that for moment – a member of or plotter in a conspiracy.

The murder of Annie Mae Pictou Aquash by AIM began as a conspiracy to commit murder, a conspiracy composed of “plotters”.

The first question should be why would anyone conspire to murder her? What was the motivation?

Murder is committed most commonly I believe due to rage, in the midst of a crime, for personal gain, or a fear that criminal activity will be exposed.

Of these the most obvious in the case of Annie is fear of exposure , exposing the criminal activities of AIM and the multiple murders they had committed.

Add to that the murders of agents Williams and Coler by no less than one of Dennis Bank$ entourage, Leonard Peltier, and the stakes increase.

Prior to Annie’s abduction and murder she had become basically a captive being watched over by thugs like Peltier who had previously interrogated her at gunpoint and later expressed a desire to subject her to “truth serum”.

If anyone is keeping track that’s strike one.

Strike two could be said to be Peltier and Dave Hill forcing Annie to make bombs with them.

But the third strike could only be that Peltier boasted to a woman, Annie, who was already under false suspicion of being an informant that while standing over one of the wounded agents that he “begged like a mfkr” but Peltier shot him anyway.

Far from brilliant and goes a considerable distance in explaining Peltier’s nick name of “Dumb as Dirt”, which now has equal application to his supporters.

In this single event, this single statement, there is a suggestion to me that the decision to murder Annie had already been made – that too goes a considerable distance in explaining the arrogance and confidence of Peltier in making such a statement to someone he had already accused of being an informant and also serves to ramp up the perceived necessity.

During Peltier’s time on the run from charges resulting from the murders of those federal agents Peltier by his own words was not only back and  forth across the Canadian border but in contact with “certain people”.

Next question would be who were these “certain people’?

And the answer can only be AIM people. Would that be rank and file AIM people who wouldn’t be in a position to order someone to be killed or would it be those in leadership positions like Bank$ who Peltier had aligned himself with?

Bank$ at the very least knew of the murder of Perry Ray Robinson Jr. at WK2 – he was recorded on a wiretap ordering Chris Westerman to get rid of the body.

Bank$ was also up to his knees in the guns and drugs of AIM, courtesy of his pals in the CPUSA – and if as his bud Russell Means said was the kind of person who could make people disappear then at the least had full knowledge of other AIM murders and probably had a hand in issuing more than one AIM fatwah.

Now I don’t believe Peltier had a direct physical participation in the murder of Annie but I don’t doubt for a minute he was in the loop as a conspirator/plotter.

So when someone wants to go on about his rights have been violated because his “art” was removed from a display honoring indigenous arts ask yourself about the rights of his and AIM’s victims to continue living.

 

SIMPLE QUESTIONS AND DO THE MATH

“On December, 1975 ( which was to say, one week after Aquash was murdered)____advised that
an unidentified Indian female was_________Colorado. The three Indian members of AIM( all of
Denver, Colorado identified as ____(phonetic) and alledgedly_________…Source claims rumors
are that __who stays at ______the ____,Colorado and ___Colorado, committed the actual murder.
Others who may have knowledge of the murder are ____Colorado and ______, South Dakota.” FBI files
( comment: If there was no FBI complicity why wasn’t this addressed at this time? )

Viable questions arise from this , one I asked a couple of attorneys about, both said rumors of a murder are just that, rumors until a body is discovered, without any evidence, without  something physical to substantiate them. A possible exception being multiple witnesses.

And if you recall Annie’s body wasn’t discovered until  weeks later and then pre emptively identified by Dennis Bank$ from a few states away without ever having seen the body and before it was identified by anyone else.

While this raises questions as a rumor the questions for me are who was the “source” and once Annie’s remains were discovered why did it take years to bring charges and secure a conviction?

Consider that in the context of who knew of the plan and who were involved in the decision making end and carrying it out?

Did the direct participants, Theda Clark, John Graham, or Arlo Looking Cloud provide the information? Was it a snitch within the AIM leadership itself?

How about those who interrogated Annie at WKLODC office, among whom was a sister of Russell Means and attorney Bruce Ellison?

Theda Clark was also a relative of Means, since it’s been established Means didn’t mind “assisting” law enforcement does an implication exist in light of his blood relatives involvement including brother Bill where the call was taken to murder Annie Means decided he should pre emptively “assist” to gain a pass?

At the point this memo was crafted the identity of the victim apparently wasn’t even known, “an unidentified Indian female”. Apparently neither were the motive, the shooter, or the location where the body could be found.

So basically all that you have is a “rumor” that an “unidentified” woman was killed. Not much to go on is it?

Once Annie’s body was discovered it became or should have become an entirely different matter, something more than years of an “ongoing investigation” that culminated in a partial justice exclusive of those within the leadership who gave the order.

SB and his handlers love to drone on about the perps are never really to blame, it’s the ones who give the orders. If they truly believe that you’d think they be all for going after the ones who gave the order, and that would be the  leadership ….. which of course they aren’t.

Now in the context of agent Price telling Annie she’d be dead within a year there a number of interpretations that can be made. The one that works for AIM is that Price as an emissary of the feds was putting Annie on notice they would kill her – it’s convenient to the narrative they want to gain traction.

But let’s look at other possibilities – it could be the feds were aware of rumors being advanced by Crow Dog, Peltier, and others that Annie was a snitch and that could lead to her demise.

If that were the way of it it  brings to mind a similar event I’ve mentioned involving a friend of mine who had a serious problem with alcohol.

I visited him in the hospital and told him if he didn’t straighten his act up the next time I saw him would be in the morgue.

Was I threatening his life? Not at all. If he wound up dead should I have been a suspect?

Kind of hard to imagine I would have been, that is unless AIM had a vested interest in promoting me as one.

It could also be they intended to frighten Annie. Scaring a person is something AIM has been big on, and if you take into account the alibi related to Annie’s interrogation immediately prior to her murder that they only wanted to scare her it becomes sort of a commonplace tactic, though AIM’s intention has been proven to be about more than instilling a little fear.

Then too maybe the feds did want to kill Annie, but the feds had nothing to gain by killing her, especially if they held out any hope of cultivating her as an informant ( which they never did).

If anyone believes they did then they should enumerate the reasons why in a way that makes sense devoid of the myths and fairytales.

AIM on the other hand labored under the belief they had a great deal to gain by murdering her and raises the obvious question who are the viable suspects?

I haven’t any desire to relieve the feds from any responsibility that falls to them, nor do I have any desire to exonerate AIM through misdirection and issuing get out jail passes.

So ask yourself the simple questions, do the math. Flashcards won’t even be needed.

Forget for the moment that Claypoole said Price admitted it in court and then later said well, he actually didn’t admit it but it “felt” like he did – forget that SB immediately contradicted her in saying Price made no such admission and the result was you had a classic example of conflicting AIM centric variations on a theme. Not exactly confidence inspiring is it?

Take a commonsense approach and just do the math, ask yourself who had what to gain? In doing so you’ll discover a little commonsense goes a long way and you’ll be  taking the initial steps to being your own person.

We of course will have to wait to see how this all plays out but the point is that seven decades later justice is still being sought – that there is no moratorium, no statute of limitations, when it comes to murder.

This apparently isn’t the case when it comes to the AIM leadership for their role in the murders of Annie Mae Pictou Aquash, Perry Ray Robinson jr, or those who lay in unmarked graves at WK2.

The approach taken in the case of Oskar Groening or the woman mentioned in the linked article may be seem a little nebulous but an argument can be made in comparison that if for example an individual was employed by a company that was dumping toxic waste, had knowledge of it, and never stepped forward they are in point of fact complicit.

That may not be the best analogy as people are far from being toxic waste but should be an understandable one.

To say that there hasn’t been a moratorium on prosecuting the AIM leadership would the same as saying that water isn’t essential to life.

A moratorium that has willfully turned a blind eye and deaf ear to the calls for justice and closure emanating from the survivors of AIM victims and selectively abrogated applicable statutes of limitations.

The AIM leadership is guilty of far more than counting money, though they scammed and stole enough of it,  they’re guilty of more than operating a radio, yet continue to enjoy a liberal coating of teflon and immunity.

AIM has sought public absolution in attempting to portray WK2 as an event of war while wistfully ignoring that all nations, all people, understand that even during war crimes are committed and those committing them are to be held to account.

Outright murder is a crime whether during “war” or peace time, murdering, raping, and looting a community of your own people isn’t an act of war, it is a criminal act and should be dealt with on that basis.

When it isn’t then the reasons why should become the focus – it is this lack of prosecution that speaks to some level of complicity.

Complicity by refusal if for no other reason than indifference, or perhaps a relationship with offenders.

My contention all along has been that at least one or more of the AIM leadership was an informant, if so and involved in any way in the murder of innocents complications arise.

If as in the case of Dave Hill he is allowed to walk after committing what the courts and government routinely refer to as an act of domestic terrorism (the bombing of Mt. Rushmore) and also involved in the murder of Perry Ray Robinson jr. it gets a little murky.

Even more so if placed at PR and said to have had some role in the events leading up to the murder of Annie Mae Pictou Aquash, it becomes reminiscent of that Double Indemnity scenario central to movie of the same name.

A train ride going in one direction in which neither party can disassociate themselves from the other.

Russell Means has been outed as an informant – the same man who initially pointed the finger at Vernon Bellecourt, claimed he knew nothing about Annie’s murder until years later, and then upon entering the twenty first century told Annie’s daughters that indeed he did know who the culprit was but had given his “word” not to reveal them until they had passed on, this inspite of the fact that Vernon had passed on years before and can only lead to the conclusion that someone other  than Vernon was responsible.

That’s a pretty bold statement to make, to say you know – it strikes me as an arrogance born of teflon, of knowing you’re in tight with the man and it’s all good.

Russell “knew” and “aided and assisted law enforcement” in building their case against John Graham and Thelma Rios. Are we to infer that in his “assisting” Means named names that were ignored?

So what is the implication here, is it that we are to believe John Graham, a newbie and hanger on clinging to Auntie Theda’s apron strings was not only the executioner but the mastermind as well?

That he took it upon himself at the age of eighteen or nineteen to abduct and murder Annie along with his cohorts Arlo Looking Cloud and pie patrol matriarch relative of Means, Theda Nelson Clark?

Does that even sound plausible?

AIM attempts to obscure realities by swearing the feds are responsible, the follow up question is if so why? If they wanted to take someone out why not someone in leadership, or one of their  informants if they were deemed a threat relying on the adage that dead men tell no tales?

Dennis Bank$ was able to identify Annie’s body while cruising in California before anyone else could without having seen her remains- Bank$, whose bromance buddy Russell Means  said Bank$ could make people disappear.

Bank$ recorded on a wiretap ordering Chris Westerman to dispose of Ray Robinson’s body and Means who boasted that nothing AIM related could happen on Pine Ridge without his explicit knowledge and consent.

All of this lack of prosecution merely a matter of forgiveness? A boys will be boys, or something more?

I say something more, and why I have never strayed from saying justice is served when any and all with any level of complicity are held to account – no one gets a free ride, no one gets to say they made me do it or were caught up in paranoia.

The victims were the victims, not the perpetrators, their minions, nor their handlers.

The feds did it – AIM’s stock in trade. The feds did a lot of things but they didn’t murder Annie or Ray, they didn’t murder those in unmarked graves at WK2, Johnny Moore or Roque Duenas.

Which brings me to another question related to Peltier’s escape from Lompoc – he claims the feds plotted to kill him in prison and he was compelled to escape. If so when he was captured a mere two or three days later and in possession of a rifle why didn’t they take him out then? A perfect opportunity presented by an escaped convict armed with a weapon they allegedly had plans to murder, an escape during which another life was lost.

Doesn’t wash does it? But then AIM and Peltier have never cared whether anything does or not relying on the indifference of their supporters, their willingness to accept whatever they’re spoon fed so they can be seen as a real last Indian or the non indigenous as a reverse apple.

What about Johnny Moore who was staying in an AIM flophouse and called to testify in a case against Shaimster Stanley Neptune and turned up dead – a “suicide” who employed the means of first slashing his face with a knife and then cutting his throat?

How many suicides by slashing your throat have you heard of? Think the feds went ninja, snuck into the flop and killed Moore?

When criminal acts are committed the penchant seems to always be to lay it at the door of another, create a scapegoat, for AIM it has always been the feds, for the feds it has always been AIM ….. the truth however lays somewhere in the middle, some of it obvious and known, the remainder  cloaked in layers of teflon, bullshit, and outright lies ….. they just keep making shit up and adding it to the pile.

EXPRESSIONS OF LOVE

Always the selfless warrior, a manidoowag, something spiritual.

Who exactly was Peltier “protecting” his people from – was it that two man invasion armed with short range revolvers who were looking for Jimmy Eagle related to multiple felony warrants and didn’t even know Peltier was around?

Was he protecting his people when he interrogated Annie Mae Pictou Aquash at gunpoint and later undoubtedly signed off on her abduction murder?

Did he protect his people, more specifically women, one pregnant, when he fled leaving them to fend for themself during the Oregon RV stop?

Was he a protector when he interrogated Minnie Two Shoes a year earlier?

Or does it ultimately come down to the following statement by Peltier that he was shooting at the agents because they were coming to arrest HIM?

If Peltier as a “caretaker” is the definition and provides an example to follow then the nations are not only in serious trouble but decline as well.

Is he taking a “warriors” stance when he now “begs like a mfkr” for others not to allow him to die in prison?

“Especially in this system, I can’t tell the system I was shooting  at their police officers that WERE TRYING TO ARREST ME. They’ll hold  that against me. I’VE GOT BE CAREFUL ABOUT THAT STUFF. ( Caps mine).

“WERE TRYING TO ARREST ME.” Nothing about they were trying to arrest “his people” – nothing about an imminent threat posed by two men against “his people”.

Nothing about an “invasion” …. a person would think it reasonable if that were the case Peltier would have said so from the get go. But no, all that  bs would come later in an attempt to obscure the fact that Peltier did indeed just as he said mistakenly believed they were coming to arrest him on a Wisconsin fugitive.

The truth is Peltier endangered “his people” –  among them elders, women, and children when he opted to “protect” himself from a perceived threat that didn’t exist.

I knew people who were doing legal work for the “defense committee” early on who left and told me years later when I met them they knew by the preponderance of what they were seeing and hearing that Peltier was in fact guilty – some of these people were of the nations and some were not, but they shared a common denominator, integrity, and chose to shake the dust from their feet and move on.

Their departure was more than a glitch, some bump in the road, it has been something of the norm over the years with insiders referring to Peltier as delusional and a egotistical loud mouth having come to believe the myth created for him and attacking anyone who doesn’t do his bidding or questions something he says.

You know, it’s too bad Peltier wasn’t arrested at some point prior to Jumping Bull, if he had of been this decades long dog and pony show would have never taken place, and those who lie in graves would have gone on to live their lives…..among them Annie Mae Pictou Aquash.

A few more years at most and the myth will implode as the truth will have been exposed, and having been shown to be the fools they were his supporters will begin to deny they ever were….or perhaps attempt to cobble together some follow up myth.

Allowances can be made when people are uninformed, possess an ignorance of the realities related to specific events through no fault of their own, not a one of us knows everything.

But the facts are available, the lies repeatedly exposed posed and transparent – ignoring them is “ignant”, and that’s an entirely different matter.

Peltier’s doing time for “his people”? Give me a break, he’s doing time for murder – it isn’t like he just stepped up out of the blue and for no reason said lock me up I want to “sundance” for my people.

Take a look at Peltier’s history as an AIM thug then somebody point out the expressions of love for me.

TRUTH AS ” HATE SPEECH”

This is a fairly recognizable poster, it’s been around the internet for some time – the answer to the posed question of who will be indicted next is NO ONE.

The fix is in, it’s been in. That’s been made abundantly clear and the question that should accompany these photos is not who will be indicted next but who is the next snitch that will be exposed?

By employing AIM’s definition it is well established that both Russell Means and Dave Hill were.

A breakdown in the official wall of silence occurred when South Dakota AG Marty Jackley announced that Means had not only “assisted” him in developing a case against John Graham and Thelma Rios pertaining to the abduction murder of Annie Mae Pictou Aquash but also assisted other law enforcement agencies as well.

AIM’s word for that has always been “snitch” leaving them in the midst a conundrum of sorts, If they attempt to defend Means or deny his snitch status then they are obliged to do the same for those who have spoken against them, testified in any AIM related case, or provided information.

Left with a bare minimum of options, and none of the good from their viewpoint, they have elected to opt for the lesser of the perceived evils and remain silent.

No one, NO ONE, that I am aware of anywhere on the net or this blog has attempted such a defense. Ask yourself why?

AIM of course would rather exist on a diet of buffalo chips ( which is probably a dietary staple for them anyway) than address anything related to such troubling and high risk topics.

Curious isn’t it that an organization that has employed “paranoia”, moles, snitches, and provocateurs as the mea culpa of choice hasn’t anything to say about the venerable “statesmen” Means snitch status?

But then the perception may well be if they did people might then say maybe others were as well and begin following the bread crumbs.

Curious isn’t it as well that no mention is made on AIM satellite sites like LRI or the RoL as they go on about all the inequities and a sincere desire to address them?

With the talk of constructing a “library” to “honor” Means maybe some consideration should be given to making it an adjunct to the Hoover building or that monolith in Utah the NSA calls home.

Dave Hill was outed decades ago after bombing Mt. Rushmore and being allowed to walk away without a single indictment hanging over his head.

In addition to that immediately following his get out of jail free pass he was arrested on state charges of possessing a handgun the serial number had been filed off and then SD career politician, and drunken vehicular life taker Bill Janklow stepped in and the charges were dropped in the “public interest”. What definition of in the public interest was employed to dust Hill off, give him a cookie, and send him on his way?

John Trudell has gone on for years about an “agent provocateur” within the AIM ranks insisting the path to discovery begins at the Custer Court House – but like those fan dancers of Burlesque fame reveals only enough to leave his audience wanting more – the question that should be directed to Trudell since a contingent of the usual media attention seeking AIM leadership were there and Hill was the one to throw the first punch that began the fracus is he implying Hill is the provocateur? Seems logical to me that if you want to provoke a confrontation you would throw a punch.

Maybe Trudell would have us look not at Hill, a Dennis Banks invitee to join AIM and become a member of his personal cadre of security bumbling dolts and Keystone Cops, but at Means or one of the other “liberators”. Either way though the field of candidates is finite.

Something else that should be looked into is whether or not Hill had a previous history of criminal charges being dropped prior to joining AIM? If so the plot would thicken as they say.

Now I don’t know much about child support cases other than people can go to jail for non payment – Hill didn’t, and it would be interesting to see who intervened in his behalf or if he did in fact make good on any payments in arrears and kept them current following that.

Of the remaining individuals in the above rogues gallery it’s my opinion shared by others that at least the AIM leadership as a whole probably rolled over at one point or another if we look at  their ability to either walk from charges, never be charged, or being able to “plea bargain” their sentence down to a minimum as a convicted “major drug dealer”.

Dennis Banks is an interesting case in point. The man his bromance partner Russell Means said had  the ability to make people disappear – Annie Mae and Perry Ray Robinson Jr. are prime examples.

Banks having been tape recorded instructing Chris Westerman to dispose of Ray’s body makes him at the very least an accessory after the fact to murder.

This taped recording should have at a minimum led to an effort by law enforcement to conduct a search and recovery effort for Ray’s remains…..but didn’t, and everyone should be asking why?

In addition Banks ability to immediately identify Annie’s body upon discovery from a considerable distance, as in more than a thousand miles away, before anyone else could should raise a few eyebrows and questions, yet no charges have ever been brought against him related to either incident.

Consider the fact also that Westerman apparently enjoyed a measure of trickle down immunity from Banks as it would have been impossible to go after him and leave Banks unscathed. Sounds more than a little suspicious doesn’t it?

The way of it seems to be if you’re going to commit crimes you should also be an informant to insure a free hand, or at the most a slap on the wrist.

Dennis Banks, the “warrior” who fled the scene of the Oregon RV stop as did another “warrior” by the name of Leonard Peltier, both of who obviously felt it wasn’t “a good to die” but one to abandon women, one pregnant who gave birth during her detention.

Dennis Banks who undoubtedly stayed in contact with his “security” lap dog Leonard Peltier keeping him apprised of all events as Peltier by his own words wandered back and forth across the U.S./Canadian border.

In Banks having done so Peltier would have known about the “tribunal” that issued the fatwah for Annie.

I personally believe that if Peltier didn’t have a vote in the “tribunal”, which I suspect he did, he nonetheless knew, encouraged, and appreciated the decision that was made.

It’s also more than a little suspicious that the DOJ operating under the tenure of USAG Eric Holder has announced that yes, AIM did kill Annie and Ray, but they aren’t interested in pursuing such old cases.

This is about as close as the public will ever come to the particulars unless a whistleblower emerges.

The official position is the feds don’t give up an informant while they’re alive – Means no longer is and although it wasn’t the feds who gave him up he nonetheless was outed by law enforcement – Banks, Hill, and Clyde remain among the living so we shouldn’t expect much in the way of official announcements, nor do I think we can in their passing as it could open an entirely different can of worms that might very well  involve not only governmental agencies but also politicians in key positions related to the nations.

What has been established is that Means was an informant at least when it came to the case Jackley was building, what I’d like to know is what else did Means snitch about, for how long, and to whom?

I also would like to challenge anyone to describe Means snitch status to be something other than AIM’s definition of a snitch or as being in the spirit of Crazy Horse.

Murder is allegedly a crime without a statute of limitations, yet new statutes seem to have been written when it comes to the cigar store internet construct ndns of the AIM leadership and by extension select minions. Gun violence and Lives Matter? Really? Could have fooled me.

I’d like to think that somewhere in the government there is at least one lone individual who would prioritize truth and justice by stepping up and revealing the truth, all of it, but that’s probably as much a fantasy as believing AIM is a “spiritual organization” composed of liberators and patriots who operate in the spirit of Crazy Horse.

A feature of the leaderships survival mode is to stay lawyered up applying generous amounts of super glue to themselves and attorneys like Bruce “I’m taking the Fifth” Ellison and Charles Abourzek who inserted himself into Arlo Looking Cloud’s pre trial preparations in an effort to discover what testimony Arlo would give and how wide the loop might be employing a process of something referred to as “psycho drama”.

Strange isn’t it that inspite of Arlo’s statements that Abourezk was present at Bill Means house when the call came to murder Annie Arlo’s attorney would have allowed Abourezk any form of contact with Arlo?

Abourezk has portrayed his contact with Arlo as being ex parte, a sort of friend of the court whose sole purpose was to facilitate Arlo’s defense, apparently with the belief that no one would notice the law firm owned by both and he his father not only represented various AIM members but had a long history of doing so – a clear conflict of interest.

The very law firm where Russell Means spent his day release under the guise of water rights expert during his one year sentence for his Custer conviction. Really? Russell was better versed in the legal ins and out of such rights, had a greater access to case law, his knowledge and understanding were so encyclopedic his assistance was essential?

And what about those water rights and the combined effort of the Abourezk and Means collaboration? Anyone want to tell me what benefit to the nations was secured?

I’ll conclude this post with an additional question – why was it necessary to abduct Annie from California and return her to Pine Ridge if it was simply about an interrogation? That would be PR where Means said nothing AIM related could take place without his knowledge and consent.

PR, where the participation of various Means family members and AIM friendly attorney Bruce Ellison in Annie’s interrogation took place at the WKLDC office.

PR, where the call came to murder her was taken at Russell’s brother Bill’s house and where she was buried in a hurried faux traditional ceremony by a bunch of pretenders who neither knew anything about tradition, cared about, or respected them.

In consideration of location, those involved, motive, and Mean’s proclaimed warlord status anyone doubting Means was unaware until 1999 as he claimed is either a fool, owned outright by AIM, or both.

I’d be interested in knowing if Jackley and Means ever discussed the AIM murder of Perry Ray Robinson jr. at WK2, or the multiple unmarked graves, if so what did Means have to say about that? Who did Means point the finger at to divert attention away from himself and family members?

AIM has attempted for decades to portray any who speak the truth against them as “haters” – I submit the opposite is true, they hate the truth.

ROQUE DUENAS REDUX

Roque Duenas was of the Yaqui nation-not as well know a tribe as others but with a history of their own. They were not federally recognized as a distinct nation until 1978.

A little less than two years after Peltier’s escape from Lompoc Federal prison Roque Duenas and his nephew Henry Davis are murdered from what appears to be blows to their heads.

Davis’ body is found in 1981 along with a capsized boat they were fishing in-it isn’t until 1994 that Duenas body is discovered and identified.

A few stories have been floated about who the killer was and the motivation- one being a crazed fellow fisherman and the fact that Vernon Bellecourt considered Duenas to be an informant-another example of AIM’s musical chairs informant lottery.

It has been said that Duenas was involved with Peltier’s escape-I have no way of knowing if that has any validity or not, and it’s difficult to sift through the red herrings AIM and the Peltierites are noted for tossing out.

But a singular fact remains and stands out -Duenas had been labelled an informant by Vernon and AIM had issued a statement of giving a thirty day amnesty for any who were or suspected of being to step forward and identify themselves.

That statement was issued with a codicil that upon the expiration of the amnesty period AIM would take care it of themselves.

A bold statement issued as a death threat with no apparent legal consequence.

Interesting that Vernon made the comment on several occasions that he believed Annie and Roque to be the infamous informants known as A and B.

Another singular fact remains-Annie was also labelled an informant and likewise wound up dead.

RUSSELL MEANS – SNITCH REDUX

uh huh, “might help solve other cold cases from Wounded Knee” – an assumption based on what, that a federal interest actually exists to do so?

If so somebody in the DOJ needs to verify that rather than the USAG issuing statements they have no interest in pursuing cases forty years old.

Really? Not withstanding the fact that Annie was taken to and murdered on the Pine Ridge reservation, or that a variety of family members were directly involved? That she was interrogated at the wkldc office with his bud attorney Bruce Ellison and family members present?

Doesn’t matter that the call to murder her was taken at his Brother Bill’s?

All this went on behind the man’s back who said nothing AIM related could take place on PR without his express knowledge and consent? BULLSHIT!!!!!

Means “aided” law enforcement? By his and AIM’s standard that makes him a snitch, a fed, rat, and all the other titles they’re so willing to bestow on anyone who speaks against them.

Couple this with being an “informant” and the acknowledgment that Means was involved in other murders and crimes and it suddenly begins to look like good ol’ Russ got a pass doesn’t it? A little of that immunity.

Maybe if the question of whether he was were to be asked the response might be similar to the one given about Dave “Mr. X” Hill, though a variation on not giving up an informant while they’re alive would be necessary.

Yeah, a library needs to be erected in his honor, and he should always be referred to as “a great statesman”. And let’s not forget he was a modern day Crazy Horse, liberator, and patriot….again, BULLSHIT!!!!!

There’s also Peter Matthiessen’s unwitting indictment, firmly placing Peltier inside the murder window, standing over the bodies of two federal agents with their heads blown off:

“I seen Joe when he pulled it out of the trunk and I looked at him when he put it on, and he gave me a smile.”.

Until the 1999 CNN interview, inmate Peltier swore he had never gone down to where the injured FBI agents were, by their bureau cars. How many lies does it take before Peltier supporters get a clue?

An interesting coincidence as within the last week in conversations with friends we had been discussing ITSOCH and this very incident as related in the book.

I’ve taken a break from blogging about Peltier during the last few blogs, but time to mount up again

ITSOCH is always referenced as a source in these defense attempts, but the book itself is riddled with indictments that contradicts much of what it says, and does so using Peltier’s own words.

For decades Peltier claimed he never went to Williams and Coler’s car, never saw the aftermath, and didn’t take part in what amounted to the looting of it.

This despite after the Oregon RV fiasco where both he and Banks fled like scared rabbits leaving women behind to fend for themselves and one of the agents handguns was found with Peltier’s print on it.

Of course Peltier maintained that story until confronted with Robideau’s own words which squarely placed him there during an interview where he made a stumbling, mumbling, near incoherent admission.

But for those who have read ITSOCH Peltier’s presence is clearly described in quoting his own words as follows:

“I SEEN JOE WHEN HE PULLED IT OUT OF THE TRUNK AND I LOOKED AT HIM WHEN HE PUT IT ON, AND HE GAVE ME A SMILE.”

Peltier doesn’t say he saw Stuntz put on the jacket later in a different location- he says very clearly he saw Stuntz pull it out of the trunk and put it on, and that can only mean he, Peltier, was there.

So what can Peltier and the Peltierites offer as a defense or an attempt to deny? Not much I think.

They either have to say it is a lie and the book is inaccurate, thus raising doubts about the accuracy of every word written, or they can admit Peltier lied for all those years-not an enviable position.

But I suspect they will do as they have always done and choose to ignore yet another example of Peltier indicting himself and respond with another lie about such things as shell casings.

Sometimes I can’t help but wonder if those old days of CIA association Mathiessen had compelled him to drop a crumb here and there thinking others might notice it and follow the trail?

One thing I do know is that if the nations had a dollar for every lie told by Peltier and AIM poverty would be non-existent.

Peltier has tripped himself up repeatedly over the years, some of the quotes in earlier blogs attest to that, but as we see in the evolution that has taken place as more becomes known the defense emphasis, such as it is as, morphed from total innocence to that of judicial impropriety.

A tacit admission that has been as difficult to extract as a bad tooth. This is an age of lies and what people either want to believe or are led to believe.

We see this as being so in every level of society, from politics to wannabe anarchists. Conspiracy theories go hand in hand with this type of thing and some actually believe that the mere mention of them is a proof.

What is overlooked in fabricating one is that often the time line or sequence of events is altered, a point is ignored as being an inconvenient truth, but in doing so it can be likened to wearing a pair of mismatched socks-the difference is obvious, and only the blind would fail to notice.

No more based on Peltier’s own words can any say he was out of the country when Annie was murdered.

“I’d been in and out of Canada a half dozen times already. This is why this shit about me, this stuff about me fleeing into Canada and using that as a reason for conviction, fleeing to Canada and all this shit, that’s not true.”

No more can it be said that the motivation for killing Williams and Coler was anything other than Peltier believed they were coming after him for the Wisconsin warrant-nor can it be said by Peltier or anyone that as he has said he only shot in a direction where no one could be hit.

“Especially in this system, I can’t tell the system I was shooting at their police officers that WERE TRYING TO ARREST ME. They’ll hold that against me. I’VE GOT BE CAREFUL ABOUT THAT STUFF. ( Caps mine).

No more can it be said that he only found out about Annie’s murder while in jail in Canada.

“I think it was around that December when I heard that Anna Mae was dead. I was in that jail over there in Canada right around whenever they exposed who she really was and what she died from, but I believe I didn’t hear about it until December. When people say that she tried to contact me, that’s a lie. If she’d have tried to contact me then she would have been with me, and there’s no doubt in my mind because the Indian people knew where I was; certain people knew where I was at. “

The problem with this statement is that he wasn’t in jail in Canada until February of the following year-1976. And by his own admission that he was in and out of the country the question arises was he around in December of ’75? And if so what was he doing and who was he in contact with?

A mainstay, feeble as it is, has been that AIM was over run with informants and became paranoid-so somehow that justifies the murders they committed-yet Peltier takes issue with that in the below quote.

“THERE WEREN’T THAT MANY INFORMANTS, THERE WASN’T.”

In doing so he narrows the field for the motivation in killing Annie, and I say the biggest reason was his ignorant loudmouthed bragging in her presence that he “shot the mfer”-for surely AIM saw the risks involved Peltier’s guilt and association meant for them.

Their intent wasn’t to save Peltier but to save themselves-and in view of their history I think Peltier is fortunate the RCMP got to him before AIM did, or he too could be laying in an unmarked grave somewhere, or his lifeless body handed over.

What has resulted is the proverbial marriage made in hell-AIM and Peltier eternally linked as disgruntled spouses incapable of endangering the other without endangering themself, and staying together for the “benefit” of the their offspring….gangs and criminals.

In separating there would be no division of property, the only “asset” to be shared would be the guilt and the legal ramifications-a price neither side is willing to pay.

So they publicly display a domestic bliss that doesn’t exist and find themselves confined to the same bed they jointly made…. in a marriage made in hell.
