EMBRACING NONSENSE

Going through the external and ran across this article from ’06.

A couple of things I don’t agree with, that being referencing Trudell, Butler, Means, and Peltier, especially Peltier, as heroes.

I credit Butler for stepping up and revealing the Mr. X lie associated with Peltier was nothing more than a complete fabrication and Trudell for his revealing Dennis Bank$ ability to identify Annie’s remains long before anyone else could without having viewed them but that’s where it ends.

Means statement that the Bellecourts were the sole perpetrators rings as hollow and vacuous as Means himself was.

And Peltier? Give me a break, a man about as heroic as a bowel movement.

The truth of the matter can only be when taking into consideration the AIM “tribunal” where it was decided to murder Annie is that the AIM leadership in it’s entirety is culpable.

That would be a self-serving leadership composed of at least one or more informants as is the verified case of Russell Means.

America has a penchant for supporting those who it perceives to be the underdog – laudable in some instances as in the case of Standing Rock, but detrimental in others.

Were it not for this penchant it is doubtful AIM could have garnered the attention it did or have the multiple crimes and murders they committed glossed over.

I can only echo the admonition to drop the romanticism and get behind justice for the survivors of AIM’s victims, which seems to be something of a novel thought among those who embrace nonsense.

To update the rogues gallery above both Means and Camp have passed on – additionally John Trudell as well.

LEONARD PELTIER AND ” I WILL “

The denial of Leonard Peltier’s parole goes far beyond tales of being a political prisoner or some heroic figure fighting off a planned invasion with the Jumping Bull area being the beach head.

The heart of the matter begins with the crimes committed, the abortive escape attempt when another life was lost, and the attempt by Peltier to have it both ways – stymied by the facts and his very own words, including those of fellow compatriots like Dino Butler who exposed the Mr.X lie for being what it was.

Doesn’t help that attorneys have come and gone through the revolving LPDOC/ILPDC doors and now assist others seeking closure for the murder of Perry Ray Robinson jr or support the survivors of Annie Mae Pictou Aquash.

Didn’t help that a one time director of LPDOC and Peltier cousin, Robert Robideau, said he’d had enough, quit his position, and moved to Spain.

It doesn’t help either that a man who claims to be all things but what he is while authoring numerous complaints about his treatment in federal prison refuses to release both his parole board and disciplinary hearing records.

All things considered if what emanates from Peltier, ILPDC, and his supporters has any validity at all you’d think they’d be in favor of such a release.

But they aren’t, and for the same reasons Peltier isn’t – they understand it could knock the wheels off the medicine show wagon – no more elixir to sell, no more donations, and for certain the abandonment of calls for clemency by more than a few.

A number of celebrities have signed on in an “I will” promotion, meaning they will support clemency, but I wonder how many would step up and say I will when support is asked for Peltier to sign off and release what every supporter has a right to know?

It’s an exercise in futility to ask a Pelterite to offer their opinion in this blog about why he won’t or why he shouldn’t if they don’t feel he should – nonetheless the comment section is open if they care to.

I suspect that somewhere in those parole hearing records the name of Annie Mae Pictou Aquash is to be found – and while I make no claim, nor does anyone else I am aware of, that Peltier had a physical presence when she was abducted, raped, and murdered I haven’t a single doubt he was aware of the events from front to back and had input into the decision.

Though not a celebrity I say I won’t.

WHETHER IT’S ABOUT AIM POLITICS OR JUSTICE AND EQUITY Pt 2

I can’t help but laugh at the “unfriending” – it’s sounds so infantile, like an upset child
taking their ball and going home.

Doesn’t make any difference what generation a person is from when the issue is about justice and inequity for any indigenous person, persons, or nation -if that weren’t the case nobody would be saying anything about the five hundred plus years of injustice as each generation would be “from another generation”…..maybe Chase just forgot that premise, or hasn’t put it all together yet….maybe the truth about AIM is one of those inconvenient truths.

Nobody would be saying anything about our missing women, or the rape and abuse they face, the gangs and level of crime – that too a part of the taboo topics as enumerated in the AIM manifesto.

There’s a lot of things people would rather “focus on” than misery and injustice, wish they could, but ignoring a problem or an injustice has yet to remediate a single one – that Ostrich approach conceals only the head, not the heart that remains visible for all to see, and it is the way of the heart that  defines a person.

I’ve said on more than one occasion that in my opinion LRI amounts to a little more than an AIM  satellyte, but I also believe it to be an evolving personal platform for political aspirations.

Chase at first accused me of mudslinging, which I corrected him and said asking him if he was associated with AIM was not mudslinging. He then said his family were AIM members and he preferred to focus on the positive aspects of our youth and he came from another generation.

Sarah seemed genuinely concerned but drew quieter and more silent the more I shared with her about the internal abuse my mother suffered. Chase then said he wished he had more time to discuss this but he was busy with Pesla and then he and Sarah both unceremoniously unfriended me .

They now both know the truth about the AIM leaderships complicity in my mothers murder and that they currently publicly support my mothers murderers along with Leonard Peltier. What they do with it and who they support will be on their conscience. “

Another move to silence , Chase Iron Eyes, he of the endless selfies lauding himself announced not long ago he was going to represent John Graham – that would be John Graham “the land warrior” who can’t keep his story straight and presently is serving time following a conviction for his participation in the abduction murder of Annie Mae Pictou Aquash.

It seems the first order of business is one taken from the AIM manifesto, that is to seek a gag order.

A gag order? Really Chase, isn’t that basically the same as one of those denied or redacted FOIs everyone complains about?

If representing Graham is about gaining attention seems as though CIE could garner more of that lending his expertise to Peltier.

But it’s abundantly clear the Peltier defense is winding down and a generally recognized lost cause so why run the risk.

Graham on the other hand is something relatively new, and although the Free Graham site languishes in comparison to Peltier’s when it comes to raising money and support there’s still time to retool the approach.

With the right adman Graham too can become a “leader” of AIM, one of those high ranking  members as the fable goes kind of like Peltier. Maybe even write a book or do the art thing.

My Life Is A Sundance has already been taken, in view of Graham’s age when he signed on to the abduction and murder of Annie and his inability to keep his alibi straight, not to mention coherent, he might want to consider going with My Life Is A Duncedance.

When Peltier passes on Graham could become the only show in town as an honest to goodness cross my heart and hope to die “political prisoner”.

Former Peltier attorney Kuzma had the integrity to call the Mr. X story what it was, a lie – which in turn led to yet another LPDOC party purge….exit Kuzma, too much of that “bravado” Claypoole memorialized, too much integrity.

I’m wondering if Chase will exhibit the same integrity when it comes to Graham’s invention of DNA samples being taken from a park bench or table and announce that it too is bullshit, or those oft changing and convoluted tales of “safe houses” and the where and when of things so specific to Graham’s guilt amount to the same?……I’m kind of  doubting it but I guess we’ll see.

I don’t know if Chase is a defense attorney or if this is merely an opportunity that has arisen – one of those things a “last real Indian” would feel compelled to do, but I suspect there is an undercurrent of understanding that Graham is indeed guilty and as a result of that yet another lost cause irregardless of the ebb and flow of the attentionometer or number of selfies posted. Little more than an attention seeking device?

In blowing off Annie Mae Pictou Aquash’s daughter Denise during a phone conversation when Denise was chapter and versing CIE  about the realities of her mother’s murder Chase apparently couldn’t be bothered and announced his focus was on the youth of our  nations, then withdrew from the conversation.

I’m a little curious about that as I would think it’s important for our youth to understand no one should turn their back when it comes to the murder or abuse of any of our women. No one should remain silent.

Being an attorney and an individual with their selfless unwavering finger on the pulse of the nations Chase should be well aware of the results from a statistical viewpoint if nothing else when that is the approach.

An approach I might add that led to an almost complete lack of prosecution by the feds for the crime of rape perpetrated against indigenous women, among many who would qualify as being of our youth, but more than that created a situation where our women became the statistical demographic leader for victims of rape  and physical abuse.

Chase has said he doesn’t belong to AIM, but has family members who do – whether he does or not or merely acts in the capacity of a proxy is secondary to whether the AIM manifesto is to be the game book .

Whether it’s about AIM politics or justice and equity.

PATHOLOGY OF A LIAR REDUX

As can be seen I originally blogged this in Feburary of ’13 and not much has changed. Peltier remains a pathological liar and hive members continue to ignore the facts and insist he is a martyr.

There’s an incremental diluting of the reasons to free him though – the emphasis is no longer that he is innocent, or that “X” did it, both claims proven to be unsustainable, now it is about  Peltier is old and on the verge of falling and not being able to get  up.

My response to that is others fell as the result of a bullet and they haven’t been able to get up for decades – no clemency, pardon, or “humanitarian” gesture is possible for them.

One could say they are in a sense political prisoners confined to a grave, the result of the politics of AIM – more specifically those of  it’s leadership.

A leadership that consisted of Dennis Banks, Russell Means, Clyde and Vernon Bellecourt, Carter Camp, and Leonard Crow Dog, plus an assortment of second tier flunkies.

All qualifying as “tugs” and “mad dog killers” as Peltier would put it.

Peltier is leaving himself an out, he’s steadfastly declared he would do it all again, but also would admit his role if “his” chiefs and elders told him so.

How convenient – admit the truth but portray it as questionable and only under advisement.

I can’t help but wonder who exactly are Peltier’s chiefs and elders?

Are they to be found in the AIM hierarchy? If so I’m kind of doubting they would risk opening such a can of worms, it could lead to a prisoner exchange – Peltier walks out and they walk in.

No, Peltier serves them best behind bars – as long as he remains there he is a red herring they can toss out to deflect attention away from themselves.

An added bonus is the possibility of a little revenue at times he can generate for them employing vehicles like the “walks” and “tribunals”.

Without Peltier they might have to contend with the murders of Annie Mae, Ray Robinson and his co-victims of WK2….and that’s the last thing they want.

Dino Butler was the first to go on record about “X”, he went so far as to characterize it as an effort to keep Peltier behind bars.

Yet inspite of this early admission the story was cultivated for years by “celebrities” and hapless supporters.

Who knows, maybe this dovetails with my contention that despite all the hoopla the leadership believes he actually does serve them better behind bars.

There are multiple genres in the film industry, from fantasy to action and even documentaries. A documentary, that was the way Incident at Oglala was promoted by Robert Redford.

A fact based recounting of the truth and events – problem is “X” was included for dramatic value and to raise doubts. I think it reasonable to assume some flagrant error, such a complete hoodwinking, would prompt a mea culpa from producers to narrator – yet that hasn’t happened, not so much as a whisper or rumor of remorse, nor admission of having been duped.

Maybe these documentarians and producers believe they’re too important, too big to fail to even consider such a thing …..if that’s the case no one should believe a damn thing they have to say about anything.

When Leonard Peltier was arrested in Alberta, Canada, he said that the FBI agents “who had come to arrest HIM” at Pine Ridge for jumping bail on a Wisconsin attempted murder indictment deserved to die. (They hadn’t some to arrest him, and didn’t even know he was there).

He also said if he had known the RCMP were coming to arrest him (they walked into the bedroom where he was still sleeping, and woke him up), he would have shot them “out of their shoes.”

Because the admissions, including the statement that he knew who executed the FBI agents, were made without an attorney present, they couldn’t be introduced as evidence at his trial. However, both statements were considered in his sentencing and subsequent parole hearings.

The above a copy paste from the Leonard Peltier Still Guilty- it speaks to a number of things. One being Peltier’s thug attitude, another being when Creator was passing out brains and Peltier was asked if he wanted one he thought the word was trains and said he would catch a later one.

Peltier’s good fortune that his statements couldn’t be introduced into evidence, but as is said they have a direct influence on his parole status.

Peltier, like all all thugs and wannabe tough guys wants to be seen as someone not to fool with, a dangerous person when it comes down to it-so he’s compelled by that and his own ignorance to make such statements-to boast in front of women about shooting people, or brag about being a “hero”, “warrior” and “laying down fire” at agents Williams and Coler as his own words state in the Just For Discussion blogs.

None of which adds any credibility to his claim that he is a political prisoner, that’s just an affected persona-kind of like the warrior, hero thing.

It’s also intended to divert attention from the troublesome comments he’s made, the lies he’s been caught in, and the fact that despite every effort to remediate his sentence Peltier and his team have laid an egg.

Doesn’t stop the propaganda though, or attempts to continue milking the cash cow that Peltier has become- but as awareness grows, so does a predictable contempt resulting from an increasing familiarity with the truth.

Peltier would have one and all believe he’s going down swinging-truth is he’s just down period-he’s tried desperately to cast himself as one of the big dogs, but the reality is the only place for him is on the porch, or more appropriately as is the case his prison cell.

We are told now that Peltier’s current legal team are Bravado Boys from Buffalo- I don’t know about all that, but bravado has been a mainstay of the act Peltier has engaged in.

For his legal team to admit that the Mr. X mystery shooter was concocted sounds more like a whimper to me than bravado-but then there probably wasn’t much choice as the lie had been thoroughly discredited for years.

This being the case something new, something immediate had to be presented to fill the void that was created, divert attention, and hopefully not allow people the time to actually think and say -Hey, wait a minute, X is a lie? Then what else have they been lying about?

No that wouldn’t do at all-but one thing for sure, LPDOC knows their audience and how to play them. And dropping the Mr.X bomb was like the Friday night weekend White House news drop-the intent,the hope is, that in being the weekend people will be distracted while engaging in other things.

The example of this diversion? Frank DeLuca/Blackhorse and now Theda Nelson Clark-the timing of these hoped for distractions immediate in nature, and necessary.

That isn’t to say though neither should be looked at, and both for a multitude of reasons should be-among those reasons would be Theda’s role in the abduction murder of Annie and DeLuca’s homeboy status with Peltier and eerily comparable history one might liken to Dave Hill’s-you know that not going to be prosecuted for services rendered, the good of the public, etc etc.

That could also explain the reason why those AIM leader “patriots” seem to avoid prosecution, so maybe the same look, the same interest given to DeLuca and Clark should be given to them as well. But that’s apparently too much to hope for.

This Friday night drive by news drop worked to a degree though as we haven’t seen it picked up by the mainstream media, or journalists like Rickert. Now If I were a journalist, especially one of ours, this admittal would have been front page news for me, and I would have been in LPDOCs face about it- I would have emblazoned it across the front page in bold type challenging people to think about it and consider the implications.

But I’m not a journalist, and make no claim or pretense that I am, so I just do what others do, peck away at the keyboard pointing out what I believe to be flagrantly obvious and in doing so know that some will agree while others will not.

There’s a Shakespearian quote as follows:

“Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?”

I don’t consider myself noble in any sense of the word-I consider the truth to be, and I believe there is a great ignobility in the way AIM and the Peltierites have gone about attempting to bury it-such efforts should be seen for the sea of troubles they’ve created and opposed.

Having once been a Peltier supporter I know the mechanics of their denials, the lengths they will go to deny a truth and create or support a lie.They’ll throw anything and everything against the wall hoping something will stick while they apply liberal coats of Teflon to their boy.

He’s not a “tug”, not ” a mad dog killer”- he’s a “political prisoner” whose been “wronged”, because as they would have you believe he wasn’t just a “dumb as dirt” low level grunt, he was a “leader” of AIM, respected by one and all, and whose opinion was not only highly regarded but sought after.

He personally presented some huge threat to the U.S., to it’s very continuation and existence-a prophet and seer come to free the nations-a regular Wovoka with a variation-his dance included sticking a gun in a woman’s mouth to interrogate her, shooting mortally wounded men in the face at pointblank range, and not hesitating to run and abandon women, pregnant or not, than to face the music he had created.

A real role model huh, somebody you’d want your children to grow up like? In furtherance of that be sure to send some money to his “bravado” fund.

“Especially in this system, I can’t tell the system I was shooting at their police officers that WERE TRYING TO ARREST ME. They’ll hold that against me. I’VE GOT BE CAREFUL ABOUT THAT STUFF. ( Caps mine).

Yet Peltier has said he wasn’t shooting at them-that “nobody was shot, hit, hurt, killed”, in the direction he was shooting-he has also gone on to say he was “laying down fire”.

“I think it was around that December when I heard that Anna Mae was dead. I was in that jail over there in Canada right around whenever they exposed who she really was and what she died from, but I believe I didn’t hear about it until December. When people say that she tried to contact me, that’s a lie. If she’d have tried to contact me then she would have been with me, and there’s no doubt in my mind because the Indian people knew where I was; certain people knew where I was at. “

The problem with this statement is that he wasn’t in jail in Canada until February of the following year-1976. And by his own admission that he was in and out of the country the question arises was he around in December of ’75? And if so what was he doing and who was he in contact with?

He doesn’t seem to know which side to come down on- as though confused by Trudell’s statement that Banks told him prior to Annie’s body being identified that it was her, and the Banks line of he neither knows or ever knew anything about anything related to her murder. Lends credibility to the dumb as dirt moniker.

More than obvious Peltier is an inveterate liar, a pathological one incapable of even keeping the lies straight. It’s as though this liars pathology were a contagion, as it apparently infected the entire AIM leadership, a large number of their supporters, the Peltierites, and LPDOC itself.

The truth is the cure for that, but a vaccine many refuse to avail themselves of, depending instead on those “natural” remedies offered at the AIM LPDOC clinic

The earth has been said to be the floor of heaven and there seems to be a great truth in this, if this is so then all the land is sacred and we cannot pick and choose which should be fought over to protect-all must be protected.

Understandable that specific areas to specific peoples have a greater personal significance, but the land is contiguous-fences cannot divide it, municipal boundaries, or the little picket fence-neither the great bodies of water beneath whose surface the land continues. It is illusion to think they do. This is a thing if understood and accepted would go a long way in creating a better life for all who inhabit the land.

The history of all mankind has always been to claim and fight over a portion here or a portion there for reasons to numerous to even begin to define.

Words have been invented to support such claims, words that led to “laws” and the legalization of theft- to deeds, treaties, to concepts such as eminent and public domain-all foreign, all conceptualizations, until this nation, foremost among all the other nations perhaps, has become a nation of words, stumbling over words, and constantly distorting or inventing new ones to further pave the way. Problems exist? Go figure.

The great Sauk leader Black Hawk once said, “How smooth must be the language of the whites, when they can make right look like wrong, and wrong like right.”

He would be ashamed I think to find that modern day liberators selling syrup and autobiographies employ much the same tactic-to learn that an indigenous woman, any woman among our own could become prey for abuse, sexual assault, or to be abducted, beaten, raped, and murdered, and the response would be silence, or the spinning of words to make wrong look like right and right look like wrong.

In all of this it has been forgotten that we stand on the floor of heaven, that wherever our feet touch the land it is sacred . On scared ground truth should be spoken.

SNITCHES, RATS, MOLES, AND WHISTLE BLOWERS REDUX

I just watched the latest video offered on the Annie fb page and would commend Paul DeMain for having said what should be understood by one and all-not verbatim as cited below but close enough to make the point.

“Silence is killing our children we need snitches who say there is a crack house here that is killing our children-my uncle is raping his niece.”

By the Liberators own definition and liberal application of the word snitch, one would have to say Russell Mean’s melodramatic, with perfectly timed breaking up of his voice finger pointing at Vernon during the Branscombe news conference serves to qualify him as one.

I don’t exactly view his participation as a public service, more one of an abortive attempt at damage control. The reality was that Branscombe was on the trail and the press conference would have taken place at some point with or without Mean’s and his homeboy Churchill, didn’t leave a lot of options.

The problem with the AIM leadership of that era is they actually believed their own lies and propaganda-it is a part of the pathology. They thought they were invincible, that the tide of misguided public opinion would insulate them, and the intimidation they had long practiced would suffice.

In essence the original Wall Street Corporations and Banks too big to fail-recipients of their own stimulus packages in the form of government grants, pay offs, and well meaning, if not coerced donations.

Now, as is the case with the present day thugs who have milked the stimulus cash cow and being seen for what they are, so too are the liberators. The question is who will be the poster boy ala Madoff? Will it be any of the top CEO’s, or will they attempt to toss a subordinate under the bus? Tricky situation and a dangerous game to play.

But then there’s the unsettling suspicion that is gaining momentum-that of is there, has there, been an ultimate insider all these many years?

That in the aftermath of the Jumping Bull event and the all out ramped up effort by the feds to pursue and capture the shooters was a deal struck in the liberator hierarchy to give up Peltier for personal immunity? Something LPDOC might consider taking a look at.

There are those who say a growing number of clues can be found that point in that direction-if it is true what a buffoon and tool Peltier has been, but he is so caught up in the myth that has been created for him that it would be a near impossibility for him to confront or even to consider such a thing.

I view this as an hypothesis that increasingly has the feel of merit- much of what has defied explanation begins to make sense when as pieces of the puzzle find their place a coherent picture begins to emerge. It is as I say a hypothesis, but one worth looking at, and perhaps time will tell.

This identical myth building is underway regarding John Graham-of course such things as chasing the wind and living a sundance life have already been taken by Peltier, in lieu of that this low level gopher, this hanger on, is cast in the roll of an activist and “land warrior”-in time with this crafted resume he will be referred to as founder and high ranking AIM leader just as the other low level subordinate Peltier has been. It is the established formula.

When Graham starts selling second rate art work and tomes of fiction we will know the makeover is in full swing.

Will people buy into it? Of course they will, too many love them some conspiracy, too many walk around in a self induced coma, too many are armchair activists who are capable of little more than than being a sponge that soaks up the party line.

There are people who champion Charles Manson, skinheads who do likewise of Hitler-should any be surprised that there are those who would champion Peltier, Graham, and the wannabe chiefs?

Surprised? I can’t see why-angered and disappointed yes-but we are adults and know these things exist-too many view themselves as, and want to be “rebels”, convincing themselves that allegiance to fairy tales and the ogres that populate them makes it so.

It’s been a while since I’ve browsed any of the many works of fiction regarding Annie Mae that have been breathlessly authored and advanced as the result of what we are told is a devotion to truth and the pursuit of justice, an unbiased and exhaustive devotional effort, that in effect does nothing more than to further muddy the water and assist those who have something to hide.

These “books” are almost singularly dependent on information selectively taken out of context by organizations such as LPDOC, Free John Graham, interviews with the accused (never with the accuser), their misguided supporters, and of the mighty “liberators” of oppressed people.

Facts are of secondary importance, and then only if they can be co opted, distorted , or spun. This is yellow journalism of the most obvious sort,-and a literary or journalistic effort that is both commercially and agenda driven.

In a very crude analogy it is the selling of bones, much as those of the buffalo were, or those of the Elephant Man-a public display of remains for profit, and maybe a little of that fifteen minutes based on the words of drive-by basketball players too cowardly to put in an appearance, and remnants of the pie patrol or those who wish they had of been and must content themselves to braid the hair of their heroes if not literally, then literarily.

In the wake of such transparent bias it doesn’t matter that one such as Thelma Rios confesses to her role in the abduction and murder of Annie Mae-I’ve seen numerous “explanations” why she did so-none of them willing to cede that she actually was involved or finally told the truth. No it has to be something else, anything else, for to admit the truth of what amounts to a deathbed statement from a dying woman is inconceivable and clearly illustrates that the works of fiction promoted as truth are exactly that-fiction, not even worthy of being viewed as indulging in creative or literary license.

It doesn’t matter that juries render a verdict, that literally dozens of witnesses testify-that more questions are asked, and silence, a refusal to respond is the rule of thumb. No, what this about is a conspiracy to destroy a morally and spiritually bankrupt organization that created absolute havoc in it’s wake and made untold millions in the process.

An organization and it’s leadership who believed that their “vision”, their sense of entitlement superceded all other considerations as they enriched themselves, divided up territory, and the spoils of the proclaimed war they initiated.

A war that included off shore accounts, firebombings of newspapers that dared to label them for what they were, drunken revelry at ceremonies, phoned in death threats, using and dealing drugs, the destruction of WK2, the incessant collection of donations that never were accounted for, the formation of untold charitable foundations and defense funds that have little to show for the money or time invested, rape and murder-all a blue print, a clone, of liberators who for centuries in every nation spanning the globe acted in the same manner, followed the same course.

These authors, journalists, and supporters have invested too much of themselves, too much of what is referred to as personal integrity too even consider, much less admit they have been in error. That they in point of fact either knowingly or unwittingly have perpetuated injustice while claiming to serve it and making a few bucks in the process.

To admit to having been used and made a fool of is a difficult thing-I know, having once been a knee jerk Peltier supporter-but in the end it is a human being that finds a greater value in moving on to the truth and accepting they were foolish.

It is a human being who looks openly at the overall picture and says the liberators say this and yet have done that, finds the discrepancies, and asks why rather than ignore them, make excuses, or contrive tales of conspiracy.

The feds had moles in AIM-what is that, an anomaly? Proof of a sinister conspiracy to break the nations? They’ve had them in the Mafia and nearly any organized crime syndicate you can think of-I don’t hear anyone complaining about that or labeling it a conspiracy. I don’t hear anyone complaining about it when fraud and embezzlement are exposed in charities or foundations, or in Wall Street, the Banking industry, or huge Corporations. I don’t see anyone complaining when street gangs that terrorize their communities are taken down. I hear no one complain when whistle blowers expose corruption or unsafe conditions in the workplace.

People see a drunk driver weaving on the highway and phone it in-a party in their neighborhood gets out of hand and they phone in it. They see a billboard alert of a missing child and thinking they may have seen the child or have some information and phone it in. They see some suspicious activity and phone in it -what are they, snitches, or someone concerned with the public welfare and possibly their own safety or that of loved one?

I’m not advocating for a big brother society, which this country is rapidly becoming, only common sense and asking oneself what they would do in a similar situation? To ask them self what is more important, to assist and protect a victim, the survivors, or to aid and abet the perpetrator(s) in a coverup and escaping accountability?

Abduction, rape, murder, theft, fraud, drug dealing are all crimes-if you don’t think so ask Banks who has decried the theft of his pots, demanded action, and offered a reward. That’s pots-not rape and murder, all should ask them self if the theft of pots is more heinous, more criminal, than crimes of violence?

One should wonder if in view of Bank’s uncanny ability to identify the remains of Annie Mae weeks before anyone else could if he might not be better suited to wrap a turban around his head, get a crystal ball, and set up a fortune telling stand at a flea market? Surely he’s missing his calling.

All should ask themselves if one can be this vocal, this adamant about a theft, why not at least equally so about those in unmarked graves at WK2 or the murder of Annie Mae? One should ask them self if a truth has ever been spoken by liberators-if it ever will be?

This excuse making and willingness to ignore is relied upon, it is part of the manipulation and a proven tool. It’s all about choice-that “free to be responsible” thing we hear so much about.

The us against them attitude is understandable, predictable, and certainly justified by centuries of injustice and oppression-what needs to be recognized and acted upon now though is who “them” are, rather than being led by tricksters and Judas goats.

In the end it is about an organization and a leadership that refused to police itself-to set a standard of integrity and practice an actual dedication to service on a people first basis. It is about greed and gluttony, malice, avarice, and mayhem, death and dying, and perhaps more than anything else name recognition and celebrity.

I find that I have arrived at a point where all I can say about this is F*** every damn lying one of them, and make no apology for doing so.

Kind of funny that in a conversation several months back I said I wouldn’t be surprised if Chase Iron Eyes being an attorney would interject himself  into John Graham’s case.

Sure enough that’s exactly what has happened – and again it doesn’t surprise me due to Last Real Indians hands off approach when it comes to anything that doesn’t pander to AIM.

CIE isn’t Clarence Darrow or F. Lee Bailey, that translates in my opinion to Graham will rightfully remain where he is, but it is also an opportunity to garner a little more attention and perhaps post more selfies.

I don’t know how a claim can be advanced that a persons focus is all about our youth and yet ignore the corrupting influence AIM has been, to ignore the murders of Annie Mae  Pictou Aquash, Perry Ray Robinson Jr, and several others.

I don’t believe that’s what “last real Indians” are about, if it is then I’ll be opting out and anyone can call me whatever they like – but at least I will have remained true to the blood of our ancestors that blankets this entire hemisphere.

AQUASH MURDER CASE TIMELINE

Below is a link to what has become known as the Aquash Murder Case Timeline as compiled by Paul DeMain of News From Indian Country.

A timeline that has withstood the test of time, numerous attempts to fault it, and has also been used as a reference and source material by authors from Hendricks to Claypoole, journalists, as well as various sites.

Most people who are aware of the issues are familiar with it, but it is worth taking a second look.

The predictable response by AIM and the Peltierites has been an attempt to portray witness statements, and in fact the entire timeline, as being the work of “sellouts”, “haters”, “feds”, or taking the “Fifth”…..in lieu of honesty there isn’t much of anything else they could say though is there?

The feeble go to attempt by AIM and it’s leadership to offer some kind of defense has been that of “paranoia” – seems reasonable to me that if you’re a band of criminals rampaging across the country committing murders there would or should be an element of paranoia – but fear or paranoia based on crimes committed as a defense? I don’t think so.

DON’T LET ME DIE IN PRISON

Another shake up at LPDOC?  An exodus or perhaps a purge, some polgrom to remove the disenchanted who having gained access to the inner sanctum and in doing so  undergone an epiphany coming to realize the level of delusion, that the Merry Go Round  in fantasyland is broken, not what it is represented to be?

Peltier to Dino Butler as  announced at the romper room “tribunal” that just ended-“don’t let me die in prison”.

Understandable Peltier has no desire to die in prison, I doubt any do -yet it is a course linear in nature he laid out for himself decades ago when he felt it was better to murder than be arrested on a fugitive warrant.

I wonder if Annie Mae had a similar thought-Please don’t let me die in this way and in this place- or Perry Ray Robinson Jr. and AIM’s other WK2 victims?

Did they plead for their life, utter some comparable words aloud or in supplication to Creator? What of Williams and Coler as they lay mortally wounded gazing into the face of unrepentant lying cowardly thugs awaiting the final bullet, the coup de grace to be delivered -did they have the same thought?

A fact finding, truth seeking,”tribunal” constructed upon nepotism, cronyism, and those bound with a common need and desire, a vested interest in  keeping the truth buried much the same as AIM’s victims.

I’m as impressed with it as I am with Peltier’s plea.

Butler is being promoted by some now as the nations version of Obama- the yes we can, the yes he can man, when it comes to securing Peltier’s release- maybe even a new  “buffalo bravado boy”, but I would caution the believers that they shouldn’t hold their breath awaiting Peltier’s resurrection.

IF NOT THEN, WHEN ?

I’ve just finished reading an article entitled Conversations with Dino Butler of which the below is an example-an interview conducted by E.K. Caldwell and published in News From Indian Country in 1995.

A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then and Dino may have learned and grown more as he says from his then 52 years of age vantage point when he made these comments, but the following excerpt says something different to me:

Dino Butler: I don’t think that it’s the issue here. Certainly the truth is at issue, but to me, it’s not the truth of who or what killed Anna Mae. The real issue is a lot bigger than Anna Mae or anybody. The issue is survival. Anna Mae gave her life for a reason. Our getting involved with each other fighting about who’s telling the truth about it and pointing fingers at each other won’t work. We should confront what really happened to Anna Mae, and what really happened to her is a corrupt values system that is the enemy to all natural life.

The issue of who killed Annie Mae is very much an issue- it is central to this  issue of survival Butler speaks of
and should be confronted as a priority.

And just for the record, Annie didn’t “give” her life, it was taken from her after first having been abducted, beaten, and murdered.

To attempt to characterize it as anything less is a verbal homage to AIM, a kow towing to them, the blood on their hands, and their history of crimes.

What happened to Annie was the corrupt value system of AIM and it’s leadership, to attempt to portray it in other light, to coyly lay the blame elsewhere amounts to nothing more than the AIM version of Chicken Little’s the sky is falling….the feds did it.

Does this sound familiar? It should as it has been advanced in various ways- from let’s forget all this legal prosecution and accountability and settle it among ourselves the “traditional way”, to we need to “let that go”.

This entire article is rife with the innuendo that AIM is the true victim, that the boogeyman made them do it-the less than a glowing mention of Mathiessen and his propaganda piece ITSOCH is a bone tossed either willingly or unwillingly as proof of a greater individual understanding arrived at-that spoonful of sugar to make a bitter reality more palatable.

We are told in this interview that AIM began and grew as spiritual organization and that the example they set led others to a “spiritual” awakening of some sort among the faithful-and so I would ask the question what spirituality, what tradition, exists when drugs and alcohol are present during ceremonies?

They did indeed set examples-the examples of drugs and alcohol, of gangs, and a personal sense of entitlement, of me first and if any crumbs fall from the table then praise should be forthcoming.

What spirit drove AIM to ransack and pillage Wounded Knee, to steal from our own people, to murder and intimidate our own, for people like Means and Banks to pimp our poverty for their self enrichment? For Clyde Bellecourt to deal drugs?

Was it a spiritual enlightenment that compelled them to align with communists and oppressive despotic nations and leaders?

What spirit drove them to commit and deny the murder of Annie at their hands-to deny either the murder or very presence of Ray Robinson at WK2?
So the claim is made AIM began as a spiritual organization and then lost it’s way-well when exactly did they “lose” their way? Was it during the BIA occupation when AIM leadership absconded with the major portion of the “ransom” paid?

Was it when they began milking the white guilt angle to bilk churches, religious organizations, Hollywood celebrities, and the uninformed out of their money?

How about when they decided to throw support behind a cold blooded murderer like Peltier whose motivation was singularly about avoiding arrest for warrants issued in another state?

Was it when the AIM pantheon of would be immortals gathered at their death tribunal to stand like emperors and give the thumbs down when the question of whether Annie should live or die arose?

Will the reader say no not then-none of the above?

If so, when? Was it during WK2 when they held elders “hostage” as Carter Camps boasts of-was it when they only wanted the young women to drop their pants as an elder spoke of-or when they committed the murders there and then buried them in hidden graves?

Was it at the recent CST conference when they all lied once again and attempted to present themselves as heroes and now wise elders to subvert the truth?

How about when Banks fled the Oregon RV stop and left his then pregnant teenaged wife and Annie Mae behind to fend for themselves-is that spiritual enough for the defenders?

If so then chapter and verse me-explain it all to me so I too can become a spiritually enlightened warrior and walk not on water but the blood of our people.

So I can be a ” real Indian” and feign I neither understand or speak the language of truth as they have done.

So I can sell some drugs, rape some women, commit murders, and then profit from it as I scam and collect donations across the landscape.

So not only myself but others and an ignorant myopic media will promote me as being a patriot, a leader, or just another damn lying wind chasing the sun, a sun and a wind that can only exist in my imagination, and those foolish enough to believe the lies.
